Also thought that Zack Hilton would be higher at TE. Love to see Cotchery as #1. Justin Miller is ahead of Barrett, despite mental gaffs.
where's jtuds at? Interesting to see Mosely at "DE" backing up Kimo, I thought he had a chance to play some nose for us.
Or maybe it's a way of saying seeing the team playing almost exclusively a 3-4 in preseason was a smokescreen and we really will be playing a lot of 4-3 as well?
Well according to the depth chart but I think it is obvious that in the 3-4 Kimo is going to play End, not Thomas so I assume Mosely will play the same position as Kimo since he is listed as his backup.
it says "DL" if you click on Kimos name. now click on mosleys name and it will say "DT". robertson is also a "DT" while Moore is a "DL"..
guys, it says the list was compiled by the MEDIA DEPARTMENT. I'm sure it's right most of the time, but it doesn't have knowledge on some things I'm sure.
I obviously could be wrong, but I think showing the d in the 4-3 is just a nod to the "hybrid" lb/de position that Bryan Thomas is going to play instead of being a pure defensive end. Overall I'm pleased with the changes, I like Clemens as the #2 and I'm all for Blaylock getting the starting nod and making it his job to lose. Its also good that Cotchery will get the start and Jmac will have to earn his way back. I think that competition will raise the level of both wide outs.
I am referring to their listing on the "depth chart" I agree with what you say about their listing on the roster.
Strait is also listed at S, not CB. The 4-3 listing does not mean that is what they are going to be using. 1st, it is a hybrid defense. 2nd, NFL teams are required to submit the depth chart, not the base defense.
