Atleast one coach has been fired so far, it's kind of intresting they are blaming him for the Holmes and Revis injury's because they weren't contact injury's.There's one thing he def can't do and that's strengthen Mark Sanchez's heart
This happened sooner than I thought. Next Woody needs to can everyone in the public relations department.
Huh, sort of odd that he'd be the first one fired. Needless to say, we have had a lot of weird injuries this year.
Bring back Alosi. Team was healthy when he was here. Dude's a beast http://articles.latimes.com/2012/sep/14/sports/la-sp-0915-ucla-houston-alosi-20120915
Watch the dominos fall now. Expect many firings to be announced within the next week. Soft tissue injuries are often the the result of improper stretching, hydration or overuse of muscle. All of which can be attributed to the strength/conditioning program
I said that in many thread at the TGG. Worst mistake we ever made. He has made miracles with the UCLA program in just one season. Agree 100% percent
enough time has passed since the Alosi incident that we can re hire him without there being a big stink. He shouldn't have been fired in the first place. Just fined or suspended.
I would think the difference in strength/conditioning coaches would be negligible as it affects actual injuries occurring. Should we take the fact that Landry stayed healthy as the doing of this now fired coach? Was he getting Revis/Santonio to stretch differently than last year? Lol
It's not the freak injuries likes Holmes' foot or Revis' knee that are related to the Strength & Conditioning coach. Its the constant and lingering soft tissue injuries that this team (mostly WRs & TEs) went through this year, particularly hamstrings and calves
You make a good point, but I think Landry had his own trainers working with him before he was on the team.
