    Harbaugh isnt anything special.

He got a job on an nfl team that has more talent than any other team in the league.

Rex woulda won a superbowl if he had just gotten that job on the 49ers too

That team is too talented to not win

And everybody would be talking about firing him.

Harbaugh inherited Alex Smith, he drafted Kaepernick.....alot easier to go from a QB you inherited to one you drafted.

Rex and co drafted Sanchez to be the guy....all he had walking in was Clemens and the Rat "Pre Season" Pro Bowler......Sanchez was Rex's guy and he started him day one.

While I love Harbaugh's coaching style, I am happy with Rex. If we can find a mid round QB to play solid or resurrect Sanchez under the new OC we will be a playoff contender.

Plus, the road to success has to be easier when a handful of W's wins you the division (NFC West) as oppose to going up against arguably the best QB/HC duo ever. Hell Rex went out and beat Manning and Brady back to back in their houses, in the playoffs, with Sanchez as his QB......that shows me what type of potential Rex has with the right QB and OC to compliment him as our HC.

It's funny, threads get closed for hijacking, yet 80% of the posts in this thread cannot grasp the actual idea of the thread. Maybe this one should be closed since most of the people posting in it can't conceive of the subject matter?

    Thread-death by stupidity?

Rex has shown he can win playoff games with talent. Don't regret something good elsewhere when you've got something good yourself. Harbaugh gets an edge when it comes to developing QB. However, Rex gets an edge when it comes to scheming defenses.

Rex does suck because he put sad sack on the field as much as he could. Fuck Rex.

the issue is probably that its not clear what the idea of the thread is?

the Jets could not "have had Harbaugh" as the article suggests as he wasn't looking to move as shown by the fact he stayed there another 2 years - if we had interviewed him and got turned down and he signed with someone else later that same season then the article might make some sense with its inferred criticism of the Jets, as it is its nonsense.

Is Josh Freeman any better? Heck he might be worse than Sanchez

Coulda had Harbaugh but don't. Wasting time speculating about what Harbaugh may or may not have done is pointless.

You guys are missing the point. Rex was telling us Obama would win a second term.

People tend to forget Hardbaugh inherited the core of this entire roster just like Rex did, It's the most well rounded roster in the league and it's been that way since Mike Singletary was the coach, Hardbaugh is just a better x's n o's guy and he knows offense better then Rex , he played QB. Intresting subplot to the Superbowl............Ray Lewis's first carrer sack was on Jim Hardbaugh thats how long Ray Lewis has been around, im not kidding look it up

He also got to choose his own Offensive Coordinator.

But Jim Harbaugh's team came out flat in the conference championship game 2 years in a row! That NEVER happens with good coaches!!!
