It doesn't really have any evidence that teams really are taking his sexuality into consideration, but if this is true.... I don't even know what to say.

I'd think they'd rather know why he was such an enormous tool.

The guy is too much of a headcase for us to pick him, let someone else be labeled a 'circus'

Just saw a clip from the interview, he looks pretty nervous for most of it, doesn't seem particularly nervous when his sexuality is questioned. Don't think this is going to be a big deal for a team. As long as he cares most about winning football and improving his game, honestly who gives a shit either way.

there are some walks of life where things havent quite gotten there.

the shame is that it tells the people who think the nfl is for dumb jock meatheads with no sense of the world around them that they were correct. and the shame is they are.

the real issue with manti teo is that he ran SLOW... and thats a shame because he is a very good linebacker, no matter what happened when he played the hghers from alabama.

There are homosexuals and then there's Mike Florio.

I know what I'd rather be.

Former 49er Kwame Harris is gay and is facing criminal charges for assualt and battery against an ex boyfriend

I know you said currently and I'm with you. Very very unlikely.

Honestly I think it's ridiculous teams can get away with asking him this. He was a pretty good college player and that's really all that matters. Who he has in his bed with him isn't anybody but his and his partners business.

4.8 for a middle linebacker is not that bad, really. Spikes does ok with the Pats and he ran a 5, though he really is overmatched in pass protection.

That's when we come in and draft him. Then we will REALLY have the attention of the NFL.

Nothing pc about it.. it's illegal to ask somebody about their sexuality. Just like the shit Jeff Ireland pulled with Dez Bryant a few years was bullshit. If Te'o sucks cock I don't really care as long as he can play football. Now maybe some GM's would like to suck his cock and that's why they are asking.

yeh but i dont think the kid can play football well enough to be an impact player in the nfl. notre dame plays against teams like army and navy, and were supposed to believe that the bama game was just an anomaly? i dont buy it, i think hell be a bust.

and i dont think hes gay. nothing about the situation to me at least says that it could be a coverup for a homosexual relationship.

that could just be me wanting to continue disliking the guy though. if its not a case of him being a naive mormon, and he was covering up his relationship with that dude, then its kinda sad actually that he felt the need to pull such an elaborate hoax rather than just live his life comfortably. so yeh, i doubt hes gay

fair enough please excuse my ignorance of the law. as hard as it is to judge from a straight man's perspective, i don't like that law. it seems to reinforce the negativity that this country has had about gays by keeping it private. while it isn't anyone's business, it is a right we have to have free speech also. idk. fine line i guess, but still...i guess we've got a long way to go..but that's good, at least we are progressing.
