I know people shit on Romo all the time, but the Cowboys could do FAR worse at QB. The guy is a choker, no two ways about it, but he's also the biggest reason that his team is still competing in the 4th quarter. I wouldn't have been upset if he left Dallas.

Not to hijack this thread, but I've always thought the Ware doesn't get the criticism he deserves for his lack of clutch plays. I can't recall the last time he's had a sack or FF in the 4th quarter of a game that wasn't garbage time. I think you can legitimately criticize Ware for not being clutch. Having said all that, no one will because they are too busy blasting Romo for the same fault.

I don't see any teams willing to match that offer if you let him test FA next season. I guess you get a lower cap number for this season but that's a high price for what...3 million additional cap space this year?

Good for Romo... Bad for the Cowboys.

I haven't done any research into it, but the New Orleans game a couple seasons ago immediately comes to mind. Ware was hurt and came in and strip sacked Brees to end the game.
