Right Click on the torrent in the torrent client. Choose properties. Make sure all are checked. It should take hours to download. The smaller files like the sample may download early. So, they'll appear first.
Yes. That's fine. It will say 100% downloaded. You might want to let it keep running after that to help share.
Maybe a mod should sticky this thread...or maybe create a new section on the board for torrents where all of david's posts can reside and where technical pointers can be posted and discussed as well...might help to build up the NYJ P2P community...
Wow! This is what I was looking for. I recently located to South Carolina and instead of showing the Tennessee Jets game they showed Baltimore vs Tampa Bay!?
I have a dvd player that allows me to play divx files not sure if that would work for these files. Just a heads up for those who are downloading and maybe want to watch this on tv. You just burn a data file onto disc
Not sure if there are any dvd players that support MPEG4-AVC yet. If you have a PVR/Media Center PC that hooks up to your tv, then you're good to go. I do know it won't be long though since Dish/DirecTV are going to be broadcasting in MPEG4-AVC in the near future (unless they started already) and many media giants are supporting the format like HD-DVD & BluRay, Apple and many more. To see just how big H.264 is going to be, check out Wikipedia for a quick summary. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/H.264 On this site it states that the PS3 will support H.264 playback (since it's Blu-Ray), but doesn't say wheather it'll playback .mp4 files. EDIT: Picked up this article on Afterdawn.com http://www.afterdawn.com/news/archive/6798.cfm
Hey guys, if someone has already downloaded this torrent would they mind making it available so i can download it (i don't know the proper terminology). Any by the way with bitcomet it hashed and got up to 100% and now nothing is happening. How do I find out how much time is left? Thanks
if it is up to 100% downloaded, you are done. just find where you saved the folder and open it with vlc player
I think he meant it was 100% hashed (space was reserved in your pc for download). You might have a firewall problem if it's not downloading. Check your router/firewall and open the specific port BitComet is asking you to open.
onya david! You are a very good man, much appreciated. I will seed this for the next couple of days...
Great stuff, David. Anyone having firewall problems should steer clear of Zone Alarm as it is not torrent friendly. Outpost works much better with systems that use torrents a lot.
I use ZoneAlarm, never had a problem with it. Just enable it to act as a server and you're good to go.
