True, 90% of the people here would wanted his head no questions asked had we lost. I feel for kickers in general, but there is no way he can continue to perform at that level and expect to remain our kicker....hopefully this game was an anamoly.

You mean like, take him to the movies? Maybe afterwards they can split a Strawberry shake with two straws.

For those complaining about Nugent making money...what do you think Edinger is going to cost you? He has played seven years so his league minimum is at least double nugents. Also, for those complaining about Nugent's misses...Edinger had a lower percentage by 5% last year. So with Edinger you get a more expensive kicker with less productivity. Doesn't seem like the right answer to me.

Nugent has been better in college, than he's been in the pro's. He doesn't have a real strong leg....So.....show him the door if you can get a better kicker. It was a bad 2nd round pick by the Jets' to begin with. The guy can't even reach the end zone on kickoffs. Really....if he was a freeagent, instead of a high draft pick, Jets' might have replaced him already. Guy can' tmake a FG over 40 yds. Give me a break.

My money says he shows you wrong on Sunday and comes back with a vengeance. Be back here Monday morning after Nugent kicks 5 field goals and 2 points after and we'll talk about it.

Nugent hasn't had JUST 1 bad game.

I've always like Edinger, and would welcome him with open arms.

I remember Pochman from when he was a Giant. Great leg, but can't get it through the uprights.
