He "belichick" is obviously not the nice guy next door.....He turned on Parcells when Parcells was "graciously" turning the Jet reins over to him when Bill needed some time out of the game,,,,,and can't give his number one former assistant (Mangini) a congratulatory telephone call after his first victory.
Yeah ... but who cares though? I also doubt anyone's ever gotten BB confused with the nice guy next door.
Belichick is a butthole first class. He has the social grace of a gassy warthog, from all I have heard and seen. Look no further then him taking that signing bonus from the Jets brass, and then leaving the next day, keeping the bonus. Classy and nice he ain't. He does, however, wear a heap of rings.
Tony: I thought he got the bonus from Leon Hess the previous year... am I wrong? Still doesnt' change your argument and it's accuracy......
Is this TGG or the NYPost? Just trying to find every little thing under a pebble to make a story or headline.
yea, and Belicheck didnt complain when we got slapped with the tampering charge even though i dont think he had any control over it and TGG, NYPost same thing, only one of them has better and more accurate info (you choose)
That could be. I thought he received his bonus upon being elevated to HC, but I'm working off my memory, and considering the beating my brain took in the 80 and 90s, I'm lucky I can remember I'm a Jets fan, much less something like this. Some days, I wish I COULD forget I'm a Jets fan
I'm pretty certain he got his $ after the 1998 season so he would not take a HC job... so he'd wait until 1999 when BP left.
I agree Belichick is a peice of shit. I hope Mangini sticks in his face next week with a win over the pats.
As much as you want to knock him he didn't want to be the head coach with Parcells as the gm. Kraft was going to give him total control and plenty of cash. In regards to not calling Mangini, I think once the season starts some coaches have no feelings for anyone other then trying to win the next game. BB comes off as cold and heartless, but all he cares about is winning and with his track record he can act however he wants to.
I can't remember what team this happened to, but one of Belly's O-linemen went down near an opponent's sideline, and the training staff of the team started helping the player as the Pats' trainers came across the field. At some point later, Mr. Paranoid cursed at them, telling them to stay the f*&^ away from his players, or something like that, since he didn't want the other team to get any info about his injured player. Yeah, BB is a real nice guy. TBTF
I have it from a very good source that BB was leaving a hardware store and failed to nod his head "hello" to a young mother who was going in pushing a shopping cart with a young child inside. I find it hard to believe but from what I've read about BB I can see this actually happening.
This the tampering charge you referring to?? http://thetrack.bostonherald.com/moreTrack/view.bg?articleid=149076
