Law is a personal friend of the Revis family and mentor to DR. They are both from the same small town in PA, Aliquippa. It just shows the kind of contention the Jets org had with the Revis entourage including his uncle, agent, etc. And the hard feelings that still exist between the two parties. I saw Law on TV (either Fox 1 or ESPN) and like a lot of other guys like LT and Kris Jenkins he's trying to latch on the TV side by being controversial and opionated and that means usually killing their former team.
This is like mobb deep dissing 2pac. "oh ty law want to talk shit now too?" I want to see us deliver some big hits tomorrow and get this season off the ground early. Tomorrow is a statement game. We either come out like some pussies or we come out and kill the motherfucker in front of us on every down. Tomorrow, is do or die. This is our house. I want blood. Early and often.
I couldn't care less if Geno doesn't throw a single ball near Revis. I care much more about winning the ball, not "testing" Revis, and of course not getting him hurt. Ty Law is speaking out of thin air. Go back to your retirement community, Ty.
The Jets franchise has become the league's whipping boy, every dime store analyst attempts to sound profound by piling on the knee-jerk negative attacks disguised as substantive expertise.
So basically he's a bull shit liar. He never game planned against Sanchez, he's fucking clown shoes. He has no business being a NFL analyst, he's a dumb ass for saying that. He should stick to running his stupid trampoline business.
Revis was well liked and respected by the team and coaching staff. why would they intentionally try to injure him? makes no sense at all. the article is so bad its embarrassing. on a side note, Revis claimed to be all business end when negotiating salary. 'nothing against the team or fans....its just business and i need to look out for my own career.' fine. however when the 'business end' didn't go how he envisioned, him and his entourage seem to be taking it very personal.
also if Revis ends up injured, our 3rd round pick next year deflates. does anyone think before they speak and print?
Are we gonna do a dailypost on who is counting the jets out? Can I start a Thread cause My brother thinks the jets are gonna fail? We Know this already. EVERYONE thinks we are gonna suck. Yes we don't have matty ice, adrian peterson and megatron. Oh wait. Did any those guys win a SB yet? The media is such a joke and they hire these ex players that wanna still be in the spot light to write stories on how bad the jets are.
Ty Law has demonstrated by his comments massive journalistic ignorance and solidifies the contention that the number of NFL analysts that are totally worthless is increasing exponentially. Most can't even put a cohesive sentence together, LT included, simply basking on the laurels of their career and throwing shit up just to keep their old faces on TV. You can always discern the real analysts from the bottom feeders. The later simply regurgitates some else's garbage to continue controversy. The whole Sanchez trashing at this point is simply pathetic and ignorant, and to insinuate that the Jets would hurt Revis is insulting, damaging and indicative of what a buffoon he really is.
so somebody says something bad about the jets, nothing new whatever.... but can I ask something? what is with the complete dismissal of the jets Wide Receivers? they aren't THAT bad are they? Jeremy Kerely is reliable, gates and hill were raw but seem to be improving and have good speed, Spadola seems to be raved about, and Holmes while questionable with injury shouldn't be far removed from his usual production barring a setback. but all I ever hear is that the Jets have no weapons, that nobody is there to catch the ball. their not GREAT but the narrative appears to have them severely underestimated.
Revis is not gonna know who to cover. All no name WR's except holmes if he plays. Revis is probably gonna cover kerley most of the game. He is a slot guy and those guys are the most targeted.
That's not entirely true, only one team wanted to pay him AND give up a first-rounder plus for him, sight unseen off of injury. Well there was the whole Reggie Bush 'hot sauce' fiasco last year.
This is why revis or any CB is not worth all that money . teams will just throw to their other 3 WR's and their RB. By the time Geno goes threw his reads he is not gonna even get revis's man/side of the field.
The Jets are the type of team that would intentionally hurt Revis? Huh? Too many people have diarrhea of the mouth. Just shut the fuck up and play the game of football. I'm sure the Jets will try to injure Revis.. because they've totally been known to injure the opposition. What a joke. I bet all the darksiders buy this too.
You mean that game where the only player that sustained a significant injury was Revis? Great example.
