    Jarius Byrd is the answer.

Not sure if that is fair because Hill was likely covered when Geno released the ball, but once the coverage saw it was going underneath they can just drop off their coverage from Hill. I'm sure Geno was thinking the coverage would follow Hill and he would have 1 on 1 on the underneath guy.

    this

    round 1 bpa
    round 2 bpa
    round 3 bpa
    round 4-7 bpa at needs

that ho you build a team with talent. take what the draft gives you in the high rounds and create competition with low cost labor later

I don't think an $8M a year FS is the answer but I could be wrong.

    I think a $1.5M a year rookie is probably a better bet.

    I said Jets would end up with a 6-10 record. Clearly I was wrong . . .

Hopefully Idzik saw what Earl Thomas is doing for Seattle and can get us one of those. Not sure why but Rex doesn't seem to really value the safeties based on the low level of safety talent we have had while he has been here. LaRon Landry is the most talented we have had.

i'm not being totally crazy, but how much will graham cost? i understand it's a LONG LONG shot, but i'm not sure the saints can afford him and we will have cap room. also geno loves the TE, like a lot

My ideal first four draft rounds would be:
    1. Wide Receiver
    2. Safety
    3. (Tampa Revis Pick) Tight End
    3. Outside Linebacker
    4. Wide Receiver

The Jets should have traded their second round pick for Gordon. It is highly unlikely the Jets will find a WR in the draft who will make a contribution next season . Gordon is clearly a top flight receiver now. He would have been well worth the pick

agree here but 1st round pick should be BPA WR or RB.

    Take any explosive player.

Long shot for sure. The Saints could just franchise Graham if they can't come to a new deal.

Give Graham whatever he wants, make him a Jet, what else would help our team any more than this guy?

Graham has been trying to get classified as a WR this year to cash in on his FA.

He will command too much money to look at.

    Would love it though.

Someone will pay him and he will play there next year.

Who needs him more than us?

Graham is a TE and that's how he's likely to be classified. The franchise tag on a TE is affordable and that's where the Saints will likely go with him if they can't work out a Gronk level deal. And yeah, he's going to get a Gronk deal. Probably 6 years/$54M with about $15M in guarantees.

We need two big time playmakers added to this offense. They should probably both be WRs. Kerley is a good 3rd/slot man, I think S Hill is just a freak athlete and not the answer at WR. Holmes will probably be gone, so, moving forward I think WR is in dire need of change. Give Geno some weapons.

I'm good with this. Now you just need to make sure the Jets brass targets the right guy at each position. Our past draft history would scare anyone but Idzik has nothing to do with the past so he gets a clean slate. This would be a very good first 4 rounds. Addressing most of the major needs on our team in WR, TE and pass rushing OLB with some Corner help coming via FA. I still would like to see a quick shifty RB.

I think Cumberland is a good player that should be a part of the offense moving forward. We could add another TE to compliment him, but I think he and Kerley should be here long term. Ivory/Powell look like good finds as well. The major problems are at WR imo. We need guys that can fight press coverage, catch in traffic/across the middle, fight for first downs, etc. I think we need a WR1 and WR2 badly.

It would also help to not install a new offense again. Some continuity would be nice.
