From the staff at the Bills Zone I whole heartedly apologize for the inane remarks from one of our most troublesome posters. He thinks he's being funny when he's reallya thorn in our side. He knows how to skirt our TOS with attacks to keep him under the radar. I assure he was dealt with using our progressive discipline system and he does not have the immunity he thinks he has.

    Now on to football...

The Jets are a team on the brink of having a break out game, I just hope it doens't happen on Sunday. It's the new Bills and we like what we see so far, especially on the D side of the ball. Daunte Whitner has proven to be a gem of a pickup on draft day along with Ko Simpson.

Pennington better look out cause Denney is lining him up in his sites and will take him down at least twice.

I'd wish you luck, but that's like wishing the guy who bought the powerball ticket in front of you good luck.

Here's to an injury free game on Sunday for both sides.

    nbf, Bills Zone Admin.

    Great post, NBF.

I really hadn't paid much attention to your draft with exception to Whitner in the first round. But I had been a big fan of Ko Simpson leading up to the draft, you guys definatly did a good job of suring up your secondary this year.

How has Ko been doing? I can geuss that he's been pretty good, just because I wish the Jets would've nabbed him.

Ko has played two full games and has registered a solo sack. He's effective and has been in on quite a few tackles for a rookie. He's had to learn fast with Vincent added to the IR list for the season and he's doing quite well.

He will be a force to reckon with in the future.

What's the story with Denney? Is he playing full time now, or still in a rotation? He had a monster game last week.... so far, a career game, as far as I know. He's always been an average-to slightly above average DE... part of his success last week was the O line he was up against, but that isn't enough to explain how he went off, however.

The Jets O line can pass protect fairly well, it's the run blocking they are struggling with. Care to add a link to your site?

Thanks for that post, Northern Bill Fan. It's nice to see opposing fans post with class on this web site.

 Here's to a good game this Sunday.

NFB, I thank you for dealing with that. I appreciate that.

As I live in Webstern NY myself, I always look forward to this game. Usually I go to it, but couldn;t swing it this year. The Bills are muich further along then I thought they were. I've posted my thoughts on the game in different places, but will do so again here.

The Bills will go as McGahee goes. If he runs effectively, then the Bills win. If not, then not. Simple as that.

NBF, as you know I was one of the main posters opposing this guy. I really appreciate how you handled the situation. I look forward to the game this week, but as you said I cant wish you luck. I just hope that everybody comes out of this game without an injury Thanks again.

It looks like both our teams are exceeding expectations, but at this stage it could just as easily be that Miami and NE (and Tenn) are not as good as people thought. I agree with TOny that you go as Willis goes. And we go as Chad goes. Here's to a healthy game.

Like vilmatic said, here's to a HEALTHY game. There's no wishing of luck in either direction, but as long as no one winds up on IR, it's a good day for both of us.

I'll echo the postings that the Bills are much farther ahead than I thought they would be this year. I have always disliked the Bills, but I hate Miami and NE, so if you guys can beat on them, I am in your corner for those games!

I have never been to your site nbf, but that's very stand-up of you to come here and post an apology for a jackass on your site. That gets you a lot of respect in my POV.

Good game Sunday! I hope we walk out with a W, but I just want to see some good football played by two teams that no one was even thinking about 3 weeks ago.

Hmmm. . . . interesting. Nice post by our mod-friend. Maybe I'll have to reconsider my theory on Buffalonies or Buffalopes or whatevertheyares as snow-eating, dentally-challenged, ice-fishing, Canadian-wannabees.

as vilmatic said I think we are all thinking buffal is better than they are...All I read on this board all off season is how buffalo is worse than us....then they play tight against New England and beat a way overrated Miami team and now we should be afraid? We should be afraid of anyone we play since we're re-building, but Buffalo is no great shakes guys. And if we lose to them, especially if we lose big , then I will be very disappointed at our progress

Jauron told him he will get plenty of playing time, but part of teh derfensive scheme this season is to rotate the ends. Denney has been getting the majority of that time and it's showing. The aggressive blitzes and stunts play to Denney's speed so he's perfect for Fewell's plan. He's also getting far more field time this season than he did in the past.

He looked like a young Bruuuce Smith (except for the skin) out there last week. Look for him to be in Pennington's face plenty on Sunday.
