And only 10 catches! Man, what a down game!

He's been so consistent this year, it's great to finally have a legitimate #1!

Sucks he didn't have a lot of yards, but when it comes down to it, the Jets got the W. That's all that matters to me.

Ripping Coles with Bollywood/Vinny was a crime. Santana was/is a nice player but he can't make the type of plays over the middle that Coles can. We need that type of receiver, with Chad, that can make those catches.

I had said it all along... He is a legit #1. He had over 800 yards last year with no running game and FIVE diff QBs.

I think they have different types of games, but they're both equally effective. Coles is probably faster than most think, and Moss is tougher than most think. That said, the relationship that Coles and Chad have made it logical to bring Coles back.

I love the guy. Just hope he continues to buy into the program.

    Calf.

I was extremely surprised to see him play the whole game...His tough catches over the middle NEVER cease to amaze me. He'll take a punch in the mouth, and get you the tough yards, as we all know.

Displayed incredible toughness today...I love his shiftiness today despite being hindered by his calf.

Him N Chad are lookin good!

I thought Schottzie's play calling sucked, for the most part. When we had the wind, we were throwing 3 yard pass plays to Coles or running draw plays.

Coles makes the toughest catches at all the right times. All his catches are tough over the middle catches and he knows he's gonna get hit. That's exactly the type of receiver we need in our system and with Pennington. He impresses me week in and week out, and the effort he shows makes him maybe my favorite player on the team.

Excellent point, he didn't have a lot of yards. If he only gets 75 yards a game, he'll end up with a meager 1200 yards receiving.

  17. The defense was being aggressive and bringing alot of pressure. The best wayto beat pressure and discourage teams from blitzing is short passes, draws and screens. Thats exactly what we did.
