Very few people project Manziel top 10 based on his skills. Almost all of the projections are based on who is drafting. The Texans will take Manziel (Clowney) because he's from Texas. The Browns will take Manziel (Bridgewater) because they need the hype.

I just think the odds are really good that we get to draft day and Manziel is dropping like a stone. 50/50 at least.

I agree. I don't think those draft boards are based on talent. I think they are based on teams in dire need of an answer at QB and taking a chance with a guy like him.

But honestly, I could see him falling now that I think about it. I don't think he will much, but I could see it happening. I still think he's gone before us though.

    Yep.

It's just really easy to see the draft falling like this:

    1. Texans - Jadaveon Clowney
    2. Rams - Greg Robinson
    3. Jaguars- Sammy Watkins
    4. Browns - Teddy Bridgewater

    And away we go.

    I can see that.

I was Hugh as fuck on Manziel a while back, but I'm kinda leaning the other way as of late. Him not throwing at the combine concerned me, as did a few other factors. I wanted him before but I think I have come to my senses now and feel we need to worry more about weapons on offense.

IMO, i don't think Manziel will make it past pick 10. I be surprised if he did. That said if Johnny is available at our pick, I wouldn't be crushed if we drafted him. I think dude is a smart guy and will alter his style of play for the pros, that said his size will be a problem when someone does lay him out if he goes on one of those highlight reel scrambles.

I don't think they should give away the everything including the hotdog stand guy to move up for him, but IF he's available at #18 I'd love to see him on the roster.

The real question mark is the Browns pick. They haven't talked to any of the QBs - they don't want to show any cards. I think the Browns will end up drafting Manziel. I do see the Jags getting Bridgewater. Watkins goes to Oakland.

Johnny Football is ten times better than Smith and I would take him at 18, no question. Instantly becomes the top selling jersey and would fill the seats every game. Just like Kellen Clemens, Smith is not going to be a good NFL QB and we should not pass on a better QB if one falls to us.

In my crystal ball I can see Woody standing at a podium saying "You can never have enough Johhny Foot....." then it fades out.

Do you mean our Revis pick or our own 3rd round pic?
