I hope so because they would compliment eachothers running style tremendously and if mangini is a smart coach (which he is) he will split carries between houston and washington:beer:

this is ridiculous. lol I'm not a huge fan of Barlow but hes done as well as Washington and Houston. The problem is the o-line.

Houston isnt better than barlow. why? because his first time in he gets to carry the ball inside the 10 and scores?

i agree we should mix it up some more but the problem lies in the trenches not in the backfield.

I am not sure I would use the word stellar. Particularly in the first half. It appeared to me that they were able to run th ball better in the second half. But I do agree that as a combination Houston and Washington do look a lot better than Barlow and Blaylock.

I thought Barlow tweaked his ankle in the game. I expect to see houston carry the load and have leon get 10-15 carries.

They need to give more time to Washington and Houston. Barlow and Blaylock have been around long enough that we know what they are and its not that great. They need to find out what they have in the younger players.

I agree the run blocking has been lousy and that's being kind.

This isn't a 'hes better than him because...' thread. I said Barlows yardage has been pounded out and yes he has done well and yes the O line still need to improve but as they are now it would seem that Houston and Washington are better suited. If next sunday the colts D line is as pourous as some are claiming I fully expect to see all 3 maybe 4 backs used.

I would love to see Washington in there on 15 carries or so, he brings one thing to the table that none of the others can bring, including Houston (who i really like a lot) and thats playmaking ability, you saw it when he put the ridiculous moves on the bills during his huge play of the game. He can do that, and HE is the only RB we have that shows that ability. I also think that on passing downs he should be the RB of choice he shows a lot of ability catching the ball in the backfield and doing something with it.

I don't think that Washington will be able to get us the tough yards between the tackles.

He did what he was asked to do ...STELLA. If he had 1 rush and got 1 first down same goes, What it showed me was that theres more to our rushing game with Houston and Washington playing. If you don't think he did a good job , thats your take.

houston definatly needs more carries, but i feel like barlow is our best bet at an every down back

he would if there was any semblance of a hole open. only time i watched a game this year and said "wow a running lane" was when houston was inside the 10.

washington almost never fumbles and despite his height he can grind out yards before hitting the turf. hes not going to run through anyone. but he will make tacklers slip off him the way dunn does. but with his speed he hits the hole hard and if theres atleast some push off the line hes got at least 2 yards gain before he can make a move or take a shot.

i like houston and think he deserves more time but i think some of you are making him out to be a real bruiser when hes simply a guy with pretty good speed and vision who can get an extra yard or two before going down.

leon washington should start with cedric spelling him and barlow banging it in the endzone. or vice versa with the big backs. washington shows he has speed agility and breaking tackle ability, and could be a real good back wit us.

I like Houston and leon. Leon is going to be doing some great things, but I think you guys need to chill out. We played the bills. Leon's plays were sweet, but they were set up for him. He didn't take the snap from pennignton and do all that, he was a reciever and took advantage. How many receptions have barlow and blaylock had so far? not that many. Like I said though, I really like leon brings to the table, but He's not the everydown back yet.

People have a hard on for cedric though. He scored a TD from within the ten when the defense is gassed and beaten down. And again, it's the Bills. This is a team WE SHOULD beat. I bet Barlow could of done that at that point.

I'm just speaking my mind and just saying, chill out and let's see what happens.

THEY won't start Washington until he learns how to pick up the blitz. Being small hurts that.

Stella sounds like a character from "Street Car named Desire" to me.. never saw it as an adjective before...

When you play 2 plays, it's very hard to say you did a stellar job. Anyone can step in and do it for 2 plays.
