I'm a student in boston. Live in the city. The pats were playing the night game. Jets - Bills are both in their division. Why the HELL did CBS show the steelers game instead? Are they going to give the game next sunday? Pats play at 4, Jets at 1. Any bostonians/ new englanders can help a brother out here? Where the games in another channel? I was pretty pissed.
I feel your pain... I live in Reading, MA and was expecting to see the game also. What a load of B.S. I believe everyone west of Worcester got the Bills/Jets.
Yeah, that pisses me off when they don't show the Jets or at least one of the AFC East opponents when the Pats are not playing in the slot.
When the game that your area iwould normally get (Pats) is not on, whatever you get the national game.
I feel your pain, I go to school in Worcester and its the same thing. They play the game that they think will turn out the best ratings and thus cincy-pitt even though jets bills is getting played. Last year in the beggining of the year since the jets were predicted to give the pats a run for the division coming into the season they played jets games regularly...well atleast for the first 3 weeks then they realized that it didn't matter. If the jets keep winning we'll both be seeing more games but if not we are kinda screwed except for jets-pats, night games, and weekends home. I'm actually going to visit my gf in new haven this weekend...she goes to school there and thankfully for me they still play jets down there
I am in providence and I didnt get it either. On tvguide.com it said they were going to show it when I checked early in the week. Then I checked again last friday and they had switched it to the steelers-bengals game. Hopefully we are on this week, if not it will be Dave and Busters again for me
yep, nothing in Cambridge. i basically ended up watching pit/cin game for highlights and following the jets game on nfl.com. i guess maybe they thought showing the pats' next week opponents would be good?
I live in Watertown MA, I got the game....oh wait, i have Direct TV I get ALL the games hehe If you don't have Sunday ticket, head to the Sports Depot in Alston. They show pretty much every game through direct tv. Thats where me and the wife used to have to go for the Jets games before she baught me sunday ticket for my b-day=)
They showed the Baltimore game here @4 and didn't show the Steelers at all. People were PISSED. The program manager at the local CBS station said that it was mandated by the NFL that they had to show the Ravens. I have Sunday Ticket, so I can see the :jets:
