Geno's f-bomb toward a fan should surprise no one--his coach flipped off a dolphin fan. Geno's action underscores AGAIN that Rex Ryan lost control of this team-- a TOTAL breakdown in discipline, self-control and leadership. Nothing new under Rex. This IS what happens when you have a nerdy owner befriending a cheerleader coach who spent the entire offseason bragging about how GOOD his team is. The cheerleader coach convinces his hand-picked draft bust CB (who had 5 surgeries before being drafted) that he is so great that the same CB insists he is the best in the NFL before the season starts. The same cheerleader coach forgets to tell DEFENSIVE players not to call timeout while on the sideline so that tying TDs can be taken away. Maybe Rex should go back to install his hand-picked team captains--it worked real well when Rex's hand-picked choice for team captain Santonio Holmes hand a meltdown in the huddle. The inmates are TRULY running the asylum under Rex the cheerleader. Geno's f-bomb was the inevitable result of a bunch of undisciplined underachievers confronting reality after their idiot coach bragged to the world about how "dangerous" his team was going to be; Under Rex, the circus comes to town every week.
Some fans quite frankly deserve worse than the f bomb. We have some bigger problems than some ass hole fan being put in his place.
Has nothing to do with the coach. Geno let his emotions get the better of him, sucks that shit like this happened all the time back then but in the modern world of technology, its a big deal now. Shaun Ellis during the Mangini era engaged with Seahawk fans by throwing snowballs, doesn't mean Mangini is some classless coach. Under Coughlin's reign you've had Jacobs throw his helmet to a fan section in Indy, curse out Rex Ryan in the middle of the field a few years back and you've had Michael Strahan eat a sandwich and belittle a female reporter. You've had Weatherford tape JPP and others throw a young player(Prince) in a bathtub and laugh at the kid. Yet none of this stems or has anything to do with Coughlin himself.
More like accurate reporting. Geno swore at a fan and Vick isn't going to start. All of the facts seem to be in order.
