Do you really feel we have a chance against any of the following teams? -I feel as if we have a chance against the Chargers. (W) -No Chance here, with no secondary (L) -Pats its possible we have a shot. But not with this squad (L) Its possible to lose all three. So What is the plan of action do we really have this much confidence in this QB? To groom him through his ups and downs and give him this full year. or do we take the losses and draft a QB in the 1st? Love to hear your opinions...
We have no chance to win any of the next 3 games...we then SHOULD tank the season. Win Iota for Mariota will be in full swing by the bye week
Man I really kind of want the F**k her right in the P***y kid lol If Geno improves I can see us going after receivers or if we get a QB we will do it through free agency
Well maybe he will have enough money for crab legs after we sign him We still need receivers, and a secondary, to many holes
I used to be that guy but Geno has me switching sides to Stokes' way of thinking. We have to address the QB position first at all cost, then worry about everything else after.
to get in the race we need to be at least 3-5 at the halfway point, I think this week is kind of our season. if we win we are 2-3 and maybe we can split w/ Den/NE? just get a damn win. the good news is we are out of the NFC North for a while.
Maybe it is the sunshiner in me but I believe we will win the Chargers and Pats game and lose to the Broncos. 3-4 is what I am expecting when these 3 games are over.
The Chargers are clicking in all facets of the game. They look great. Historically we have been good on the road in SD but I don't see it here. 1-6 here we come
We have a chance to win these games. Any one of them. We are not getting shit on in these games. They are one score games we should've won, the inexperience of this team has prevented that. We have been beating ourselves.
I think we tank the season draft and QB in the first. Then a CB in the 2nd. Depth/WR picks the rest. Then we get a free against WR. Cut Vick and Simms. Geno stays because he has 1 year left on contract. Retain our current talent. Bring in a third quarterback for a real competition.
I agree 100%. All will fall into place once you get the right QB. The colts were great with peyton, shitty the year he sat, and very good again with Luck. The only variable really was their qb. The pats have been great for 10+ years because they have a good qb. The broncos - QB, The Chargers - Rivers...I could go on and on. There are outliers like the Jets a few years ago (the memory is starting to fade), but you need to catch lightening in a bottle and have a hell of a lot of good players around them on both sides of the ball without a proven quarterback. There are just too many guys you have to sign and keep. We have to find that long term 10+ year qb before they have a chance to be good on a regular basis. I know it's not news to anyone on this board though. Geno is a 2nd round pick. It's not like he was taken 1st overall and we have an assload of money invested in him. The new rookie salary cap rules make it MUCH easier to churn through late 1st round and 2nd round qb's now if they really aren't proving themselves early on.
We ain't winning any of these if Geno is starting. 4 games in with 7 turnovers. You turn the ball over to Rivers, Manning, or Beady, you lose.
I said when I looked at this schedule we can easily be 1 and 6 when these games are in the books, Was hoping to get lightning in a bottle and win one,,, maybe two of them. If not our season could really be over before I hand out my first piece of Halloween Candy. Looks like the later is happening.
Geno has 1 game -- if he plays a Geno like game with two turnovers and a loss in sandiego he will not start back at met Life against Denver. Fans will be in a baaaad mood.
