We're too dumb to fire him.

    He finishes the season.

Not only do I see him staying on, but I see another 1 year extension as well. Woody is just that stupid.

He will atleast get the rest of the season, and I really wouldn't be shocked if he is still the coach next year.

The Jets spent 110 million dollars this year in a league where the 31 other teams are all spending atleast 123 million and most spend 130 million. I'm not saying Rex doesn't have his faults, because he clearly does, but the issues on this team have more to do with personnel than coaching. We could make a switch but if we don't spend some $$$ then it won't matter either way.

I think if we drop our first two division games, he's gone.

Though if we suffer another loss like the Chargers game, it is clear he lost the locker room and will be let go at that time.

Ian Rapport reported this morning Woody Johnson is going to wait until the offseason.

There is 0 chance he is fired before week 17... Unless Woody really does want to tank.

If Rex is gone after New England, I think our entire team will pack it in. If Woody thinks that it's worth it to get a top pick, he might go for it.

Probably not, though. We'll get a decent pick either way

Who cares about decent picks ,we would fuck it up anyway

See Dee Millner drafted 9th overall,Sanchez 5th overall and Geno Shit second round,Stephen Hill second round, and all of this years draft minus Amaro n Pryor. We are the worst drafters, let's not forget about Vernon Gholston either

Woody still has a man crush on Rex, we could go 1-15 and it still wouldn't be until after the end of the season and all the good candidates have been taken.

There is no point in firing him in the middle of the season. He'll get the rest of the year. My fear is that, with the schedule softening up a bit, he wins enough meaningless games to keep his job.

I said after the season, but since you did not get the idea, I meant weeks after the end of the season when all games have been played and all good candidates (OC/DC) have been taken.

Woody will have to hire a firm to evaluate each candidate and as we wait they will be signed, like what happened with Idzik and we will get our 4th or 5th choice. Just like Idzik.

If Rex goes 1-15 that won't happen. He'll be gone on Monday after the last game . Who again were out 1,2 and 3 candidates for GM? You have that list for me?

The thing going for Rex is they don't have a Jack Del Rio or someone similar who deserves a shot at coaching the team. Both coordinators are trash. So, while he should get fired after Thursday night, he will probably last the season and be allowed to go 4-12.

Rex is gone on Black Monday. It's hard to imagine getting rid of him prior to the season ending seeing as there really isn't anyone out there to replace him.

There's no way he gets fired before Black Monday. If he goes 7-3 over the rest of the season I bet he stays.

One of the things that annoys me most about Rex Ryan, is the way he wastes our TO's. We constanly use our TO's because we're either in complete disarray on the field, or because he uses his challenges like scratch offs. They're not lottery tickets Rex ... You're supposed to use them if it appears as if the call is wrong! Use you're fucking head before you challenge a play that has 0% chance of being overturned. WHO thought that play today wasn't a valid catch? Is ANYBODY on the staff looking at the replay? Enough already. It would be nice if we could go into crunch time of a close game with all our TO's ... but we NEVER do, because our coach is among the worst in-game coaches in the league.
