We should just let Percy Harvin walk because we are rolling in offensive talent and we have great luck with injuries to our wide receivers and we're very restricted in our cap space next year. I'm going to be shocked if Harvin is healthy on June 1st and not in a Jet's uniform for the rest of the season. Beyond shocked.
Harvin won't get the $ in his Seattle contract with any team. He'll have to renegotiate it down considerably. He's played well but hasn't been an impact player yet for the Jets. I don't know if MM wrote a column on it. I did see his Twitter blurb on it. It didn't look like he was stating it as a fact just speculating. Since he refuses to give Idzik credit for making a good deal he has to have something negative to say.
Cooper is not a top 5 draft pick. This draft class is loaded with capable WRs and free agency is going to be ridiculous.
What funny to me is how people said Idzik has solved the links problem the Jets had before he got here. Now there links every where. I wonder why?
Because he has cock balls guaranteed money. He could take a chance to see if hes a hot commodity on the open market if he forces the jets to cut him by refusing a restructure OR he can take less per year but get more guaranteed money and stay with the Jets
Harvin is as good as gone barring a substantial paycut. He's simply not worth his current number, or giving up the 4th rounder. we'll need that 4th rounder for trade ammo.
Lol, are you referring to Dez Bryant and Demayrius Thomas? If so, neither is going to hit the free agent market. I'd be utterly shocked if either did, and would hope the Jets throw the saved cap space from last year at em.
Not sure if this has been mentioned but, I don't think the Patriots would touch Harvin. He is way too unpolished of a receiver for the Patriots offense.
I honestly don't get why you guys gas about how much? oh wait..the salary cap ..that's right.. oh, wait...how's that salary cap shit working for us right now? Stop crying about paying top tier players when letting them go hurts us more than keeping them!
