I agree. If Geno flops he will no longer be the starter. This comment also shows Fitz has thick skin or, at least, the coaching staff feels that way.

It looks like McDougle is out there goin' 100%. It's amazing how quickly guys can come back from an ACL nowadays. I wish him success.

On the other hand what's up with Milliner? Is he on the field yet? An Achilles is a different story

From what I read milliner is still working with the training staff, but he's been there the whole time.

What's the timetable on an Achilles? I honestly have no idea.

I'm not sure what the standard recovery time is but Vince Wilfork tore his Achilles in late September 2013 and was practicing with the team in early August 2014, and he's over 100 lbs heavier than Milliner so I wouldn't expect DM to take longer than that

I don't know. But he's never on the field. From the little I've read about it, it can be a big problem for him

A clean ACL tear or partial tear, without collateral damage in the knee is not such big deal anymore. Maybe McDougle's injury wasn't too severe.
Amazing he's out there covering guys

Yeah he's clearly a bit delicate from what I've seen so far. Definitely a concern.

Very happy about mcdougle tho. Hope he pans out.

Me too. I'm rootin' like hell for him. I'd love to see him contribute right away and add to our depth

Oh man if he becomes even a solid cb, that's huge for us with what we have right now. Like we can just dare teams to throw and send the house. Just obliterate quarterbacks all day.

If Milliner can come back and learn from Revis and Cro whilst playing a smaller role, building upon that last month of play from 2013, we'll have 4-5 serviceable starting tier CBs.

Maybe 6 if you count in Marcus Williams. Likely the deepest corner depth in the league.

It's like night and day from last off season. I really hope that the FO can do the same thing to the QB position the next off season.

I'm sure a lot of people will be getting on him for this.

As long as he's here when he has to be and shows up ready to play, I dont care about this.

Me either. Especially if he isn't interjecting his ass into the Mo business, as was being surmised on here by some.

    Tore my acl
Tore my acl and meniscus back in January and still haven't gotten surgery. Scheduled for June 26th. I have been running on it and slight cuts with minimal pain. Doc says the acl is a 6month full recovery till I'm able to make cuts on it. It's been about 8 months since he tore his so he should be completely fine physically. It's the mental part that is hard, going through that you kind of talk your self out of things or physic yourself out. It's an injury that usually happens with normal movement. I was just playing corner, turned to look back for the ball planted to jump up for the ball and my knee just went out. Something I've done so much with no problem tears my acl.

It's just crazy something so simple can tear a ligament. But he should be 100% back now and it's just as strong as before I just hope he can stay healthy

The surgery's are so much less invasive than they used to be also. I don't think Dex had a meniscus either.

How painful was it? What does it feel like? I've torn cartilage in my knees; had severe sprains; and a torn tendon, ligament, and broken arm in a fall on my wrist- now that was painful, lol. But I just can't get a gauge how an acl tear feels.

    Good luck, btw.

In comparison, tore my achilles a few years back and couldn't run properly for 14 months. And I rehabbed hard, I worked in a hospital as a hospital administrator at Georgetown Hospital in DC and had the team surgeon do my surgery. And rehabbed 3 days a week in the hospital and at home. Surgeon told me athletically there is no longer recovery than an achilles rupture. Did it playing hoops, went for a rebound took one step and pop! Thought someone landed on the back of my heal. Drove myself to the hospital cause my asshole friends thought I was full of shit and just sprained my ankle lol....

So Dee's recovery is going to be a long one.
