Most of what you post on this site is certifiable bullshit. And until you prove it wrong, everything you have posted in this thread is also complete bullshit.

For understanding of this story, some background is needed. Under the previous owner Ralph Wilson, marketing and sales were huge influences on how the Bills operated their football operations. Ralph would work to make sure every year that ticket sales were maximized. They would come up with a marketing gimmick every year. Sign TO was one of our off-seasons. The Bills gave up a home game a year to Toronto for financial reasons. And the marketing team performed well. For a small town with a terrible team, Bills tickets continued to be sold through some of the worst football imaginable.

Enter the Pegulas. They bought the team and their goal was to build a top-tier, winning team. They assume that ticket sales will follow as the team is better. Sounds crazy, but this was a huge change. The Buffalo News have sources in marketing working under Russ Brandon. Those sources give information to the News. When Fred got cut, marketing was trying to roll out a huge Fred Jackson campaign with one of the top Bills corporate sponsors, M & T Bank. The marketing people were not told (I assume they used to be in the loop as Brandon had power of operations as well) and cried to the news.

The 53 man roster is controlled by GM Doug Whaley.
Who starts and dresses is up to Rex Ryan.
The roster, like most NFL teams, is a collaboration between Whaley and Ryan.

The Fred Jackson decision was run by Rex Ryan, ownership, and the rest of personnel under Whaley. "Going Rogue" means marketing is now told after. Thank God.

If you don't want to read my posts then put me on ignore or block. I don't know what else to tell you. It seems like you care a lot about my posting yet I don't even know who you are nor do I care what you say. Kind of embarrassing for you. I'm sure you'll continue to be one of my followers, read my posts, and then get really angry to yourself when I post and then reply with some dumb shit you think is really insulting to me that you spent time thinking about. Have fun with that

Dude post the backtracking tweets you claim are out there and redeem yourself.

    Otherwise stop wasting our time.

We gave you an out, use it or lose it.

I think we all appreciate cogent fans of other teams giving us insight into our opponents.

But when you raise it to the level of posting about fucking Twitter, dude shut the fuck up or prove it.

My apologies if you've actually posted the tweets because, quite frankly, I don't give a shit.

    But stop wasting our time.

This bandwith is a natural resource that we can't afford to waste.

I don't need to "redeem myself" from anything. The story was written based off of tweets, so I don't know how the fuck you would think Twitter is irrelevant to this story. The whole thing comes from Twitter. I don't need to "prove" something in this thread. I don't have an agenda or a position I want people to believe. I really don't fucking care I just saw a thread where everyone seemed misinformed so I thought I'd help out the thread. Now you turn around telling me I need to "prove" shit. No I dont. Believe me or not I dont fucking care. If you cared about the story and did any shred of reading online about it you would see the tweets. It's not my job to do a full God damn write up piece and serve it to you on a silver platter. I'm just writing what I know and saw. Jesus Christ. I don't see you acting this way toward anyone else in this thread or others. Only because I'm a Bills fan now all of a sudden I'm a damn journalist and need to cite sources that are online for everyone to see apparently. Sorry I tried to help out wrong information in the first place.

Didn't read that and I don't really care.

    You claimed something.

    Back it up or STFU.

Don't make us--well not me-- have to go do research to find out that your claim is actually bullshit.

And given you reluctance to post proof, it likely is.

    Carry on.

That's so "rogue" to talk to your boss before you do something.

The fact stuff like that is coming out before a game is played is a bad, bad sign for Whaley. Just wait until the turnovers & Ls start coming.

We lived with this cr@p when Rex was here it's not a one-time thing or a mistake.

    You've been warned.

i wasnt aware the general manager had to check with the owner before he did his job. maybe the owner should learn a little from dan snyder and that fuckface in texas. mainly to stay out of football matters and worry about putting the right people in place to make decisions and then not undercut them when they make those decisions.

So, Whaley goes "rogue" and he gets blasted. Then, it's discovered that Whaley checks in with his boss to release a player that is a fan favorite, and the owner gets blasted. You guys and dolls are funny.......

    The Media Narrative:

popular (with the fans) decision = Rex Ryan's of course!

unpopular decision = the GM going "rogue"

lots of reports like that over the years here. i see it made its way to buffalo

This is no ordinary player. If your GM wanted to cut Nick Mangold, do you think he'd get team approval first? I do. No way you cut the fan favorite and longest tenured Bill without getting approval from the owner.

see that's the difference between teams like the patsies and the bills. if a guy is not worth the investment or no longer doing the job or has been overtaken by another guy they get cut. no ifs ands or buts about it. and no I highly doubt they need to check with the owner, see he is a smart owner and has football people in place and realizes that he cant give a fuck how popular guys are its not about popularity its about winning football games.

those motherfuckers will drop brady like a bad habit as soon as its what is best for the team.

keep wanting your football people to check with non football people about football matters and see where that gets you.

Do you honestly think Kraft would say, "Oh well." If Brady was cut without Kraft knowing about it? You couldn't possibly believe this.......
