Bowles strikes me as the kind of coach who would get pretty pissed off at 12 men on the field, easy-going or no.

I can't wait to see Sheldon in action.

He gets his feet under him against the Skins and proceeds to tear Tom a new one.

    Happy thoughts...

When you hold any team to 0% conversion on third down.

    For an entire game.

    You're a good defense.

    This isn't hard.

Our biggest defensive issue is OLBs who have difficulty in pass coverage. This will be exposed when we play better offenses like the Pats. They will force us into matchups where Coples and Pace are getting beat by faster receivers.

if we're relying on our OLBs in pass coverage against the pats we deserve to lose.

We should almost be in nickel and dime packages the whole game.

I expect we will see Gilchrist cover TE's at least some of the time. How will he do? I am optimistic.

This is true but the Fins were a total mess in London. It was as bad as the last game last year. How a veteran team can just slack off like that is beyond me. That's a terrible culture to have and unless Tanny gets ahold of it soon it's going to get ahold of him.

  9. Tanny still hasn't learned his lesson. He continues to emphasize 1st stringers w/ high price tags at what he considers to be impact positions. Now you can get by at the other perceived "less important" positions if at the very least you have consistency. But that's not how he rolls. He leaves those positions as cheap as possible & tries to get cute by cycling in & out lots of high ceiling athletic type UDFA'S who almost NEVER work out for him;Although it's almost comical to wonder what would've happened w/ the Wayne Hunter situation if Austin Howard didn't suddenly become passable & the Rams were desperate to make a "problem for problem" exchange. Jet fans were foaming at the MOUTH before he pulled that one out of his rear side.

Miami's interior outside of Pouncy, who might be the most overrated O-linemen in football...is on a WFH level for sure.

I thought that it was interesting that he signed Tannehill to the extension a year early. It wasn't at full price and that's important but the fact that it wasn't at full price was also an indicator that Tannehill wasn't a topflight QB. That's one of the moves that is going to make or break the Fins over the next couple of seasons. Suh is the other one.
