Now listen, nobody knows where we'll be or where they'll be when we play on December 6th. I'd like to think 7-4 for us, and hopefully 5-6 for them if Washington can beat them. It will be a Giants home game but plenty of Jets fans will be in the building as well I have been waiting so god damn long for revenge against that wretched, overrated, LUCKY AS HELL franchise. And not just for Victor Cruz ruining Christmas in 2011. not just for their lucky 10-6/9-7 season miracle super bowl wins (yea so they were against N.E., Giants fans still rubbed it in our faces and danced all over the city in their usual smug, elite, lordly fashion. But for that awful lucky 2007 win over us as well. For knocking out Sanchez in 2013, for knocking out Pennington in 2004. We owe them so god damn badly. We owe the 1 CRUSHING SEASON WRECKING LOSS! I don't just want to beat them I want to beat them up. I'm sick of seeing Odell Beckham on every other commercial (how long can a guy live off 1 catch?) Calvin Pryor...please make sure Odell gets Jack Tatumed into next week. I was glad the Giants gagged it up and lost today. It just showed us all what a joke defense they are, it showed that even with the refs tossing BS PI flag after BS PI flag your way (and the Patriots couldn't believe it, flags going against US!?) they still couldn't win. Don't get me wrong I would never root for the Patriots, but with the Giants loss today at least they can't gloat about ending another perfect season. I want that to be us in week 16. Jets fans rooting for the Giants fans today don't realize that the other side of it would've been a whole lot of big brother/little brother bullying. "We beat the Pats just like we always, just like YOU guys can't" and a whole bunch of crap like that. Now they have to keep their mouths shut. Who care NE is 9-0. No Lewis and no Edelman. No chance they go 16-0 The Giants are sad clowns leading a division at 5-5. They are trash. We have to snuff them out this year. Their defense is on pace to be historically inept when it comes to giving up yards. Their offensive line lost their center (Richburg) so good luck against the interior of our D line.
Sure, great. And the teams focus is 100% on Houston, that I know. But I'm a fan not a player, so I can look ahead to the Giants if I want to.
We're not beating the giants. And to make things worst, revis will get burned for a TD in that game. Sent from my LG-LS720 using Tapatalk
"Jets fan" of 20 years joins TGG and with the first post talks about playing Giants, revoking memories of a 4-yo games. Yeah, not a setup from Giants fan, not at all.
I think it's weird when fans say shit like this. How are you focused on Houston and getting the win? You're a fan of a team, you're not a player. I agree. Getting a win against the Giants would be great. The Revis/Beckham matchup will be interesting to watch.
Shaping up to be a game with huge playoff implications for both sides Not scared of them one bit....Think we match up with them very well
Fans can look to any game they want, but what is the point? The Jets play the Texans this week. That is all I, as a fan, care about. I will think about the Giants after the Dolphins game.
I'm totally looking forward to beating the Packers some other season. I'd love to talk smack to my dad.
The Giants/Jets "rivalry" is as dumb as the Yankees/Mets rivalry. At least with the Mets/Yankees, they play every year. Other than that, it's stupid to me. I personally see the Giants as just another team who plays in the same town as the Jets. I don't hate them or love them(although there are a couple players on the Giants I like watching play). When I see Jets fans hate on the Giants, they just come off as jealous/whiny bitches. I would take those 2 "lucky" championships in a second
It's not dumb at all. The Giants and Jets vie for being the Team of New York. Do you not think it's important to be the most important team in town? To have everybody talking about you, wearing your jerseys, etc.?
Nope. Maybe if i owned the team, i would since it would help my bank account. Until that day comes though, it's irrelevant because none of that affect me one way or the other
Well of course it won't affect you financially, but you gotta admit that bragging rights feel good, eh? I mean let's be real, when the Jets owned the town in 2009 and 2010 - and the Giants weren't shit - you could go out and wear your jersey with pride without some asshole Giant fan giving you crap. Nowadays, it's back to square one. If the Jets can manage to beat the Giants, we'll have bragging rights for at least another few years until we meet up again.
I give no shits. You may want to consider manning up and not caring what other people think. It's not a bad way to live.
Meh. If a Jets fan starts talking shit about winning this year's game, the Giants fan can always fall back on the ultimate tool for bragging rights, that is their championships compared to the Jets. You as a Jets fan can't even say they're bringing up old glory since they got one as recently as 3 years ago. That's already a losing battle you are walking into once you start getting into all that. I just don't worry about it.
