Let's get a healthy Peyton next year on a 2 year contract. Sell Papa John Pizza at Metlife. He gets to square off 4 more times at least against Brady and he gets to train his successor Petty or the QB we draft in 2016, 2017. We get a real RG and RT and we give the vets a legitimate chance to make some playoff noise. Everybody wins. We apparently can't get a QB coach worth a shit, so let's get the best QB mind in the game.
so for the players who drop it should we replace them too? I mean they are dropping catch-able balls that either qb cuod have thrown. And let's not limit this to under-throws what about bone headed plays like running out of bound rather then trowing the ball away or when trying a come back eating seconds walking back to the Line of Scrimmage or just forgetting the game situation and game clock? Heres another simple question to ponder----and only you will know if you're being honest so the responses here are meaningless: If GS had been the qb this season--most specifically the last 2 games, but even all season---playing EXACTLY the same way as RF, what would the synopsis be? Most here get it, with the usual haters who dont want ti understand we only have two options, so they have one option regardless of how inept he has become. what ever they do they should not ruin Petty let him sit back and learn. it was should have been done to Geno and maybe just maybe he would be a better player today. instead the previous regime played him and looked at what happened. Look at Sanchez as well played that first yr but at least Sanchez was a better teammate. Either way if broken Fitz gives the team teh best chance to win games that might matter what the f does that tell fans that the coaches think? That they can not trust or believe in Geno is what most people would think
The only 'bias' that exists is a recency bias. Fitz is the last guy to throw a couple of game-ending INT's so now the meme is well Geno wasn't so bad, he deserves a chance with Marshall and Decker when last year nobody wanted anything more to do with him after the San Diego fiasco, and after the Buffalo game where he threw three INT's in the first quarter and had a QB rating of like .4...among other Geno disasters. And when Geno gets in there and stinks it up again it'll be bring in Petty, bring in Peyton's professional corpse, bring in whoever.
