Flags on Inactive Players

That was a bullshit call. Fuck those refs for that. I also thought the Beckham Jr kicking the ball was Bullshit although slightly more justifiable than Colons penalty.

 

Why was Beckham getting penalized for kicking the ball bullshit? It's clearly against the rules, and there was no reason for it. It was a childish thing to do. I've never seen a player do that before in the NFL that I can remember. I think he should have gotten a 15-yard Unsportsman like conduct penalty rather than 5-yard delay of game penalty.

 

Colon was just protecting his crown, making sure he'll lead the team in penalty yardage even while on Injured Reserve.

 

I should have probably been mad, but I was lmao when I saw it was Colon.

 

the refs were out of control this game. They could have called holding on the gints on the edge rusher as long as flowers was in there. That was all he did that and illegal hands to the face/head area

 

I was actually surprised it wasn't a 15 yard Unsportsmanlike penalty.

That would have been an even sweeter way to win.

Yes The 5 yard penalty was a gift. 15 Yards would've made it 4th and 21, although considering our history, we're lucky we didn't have to deal with that LOL

 

Yeah it's against the rules I guess that's why I said it was more justifiable than the Colon penalty but let's be real- they call that once every 97 years.

The rule is designed so the defensive players don't kick the ball away when te offense is in hurry up, hence the call was "delay of game." To call it on an offensive player after an incomplete pass where it meant nothing to kick it is just lame.

Earlier in the game Decker got stopped short of a 1st down - in his frustration he flipped the ball hard behind his back and it bounced into the sidelines, something that happens every game-- no call. That's not any different from Beckham Jr..

There is an argument that these players that spin the ball and dance after a catch is worse and they let that go.

It was a crapppy call in that situation- not that I'm complaining

 

I totally disagree on all accounts. I don't think they're the same at all. He should have received an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty for kicking the ball.
