Didn't he say that they underachieved last year, after he was hired, even though they were a top 10 D? I would guess he will have to resign now based off his own expectations, or at least hire a different coordinator and let them run their defense. No?
Meaningless. We should not be concerned with what he says, but be much aware of what he can do when his back is against the wall. I say let a sleeping dog lay. He can still over motivate his team to make our life miserable on the last game of the season so he can find comfort in insuring we miss the playoffs. For Buffalo that is the playoff game. This game will be war if we are still in the running. It might even be the most challenging game we face on our journey including our potential playoff opponents.

Hmm, which coach of the NYJ never played McCarron, undoubtedly had a role in his being cut, and would look foolish if he succeeded, revealing a lack of ability to evaluate talent at the most important position in the game? Which coach was that again and is there any correlation to that coach and this thread? I wonder. Does it really need to be spelled out any more clearly what that has to do in a thread questioning Rex's ability? What are you talking about? McCarron was drafted by the Bengals in the fifth round last year, he has nothing to do with Rex. You must be confusing him with Greg McElroy, same school but vastly different QB's. And Rex was right about McElroy, as was everyone else since he was only a 7th round pick and washed out of the league years ago. Next time you threaten to mock someone get your facts straight first.
facts. I just don't like how some teams had their way with us during that ugly stretch we had.. felt like it was just bombs away on us. But we're gelling finally but couldnt have been at a more perfect time.. unless houston or raiders loss is the reason we don't make the playoffs
