Bowles is probably an above average coach, but he's not the guy nor will he ever be the guy to get us over the hump. Just not very smart. Not a good X's and O's guy. The team wasn't ready to play today and that's on HIM. Rex Ryan out coached him TWICE this year. Todd Bowles will never bring us to the promised land Ryan Fitzpatrick has a degree from Harvard but is a poor decision maker on the football field. He is easily baited, fooled, and does not understand situational football well. The INT forcing a pathetic throw into the end zone when we were down 17-19 but in FG range is unforgivable Revis is a myth. Our defensive line is overrated and will never get to the QB when it needs to Randy Bullock is crap, but we won't have to deal with him much longer Our receivers drop too many passes God hates the Jets.
And you know this after one season? Amazing. I guess that Belichick guy up in NE is terrible because he was out coached twice my Bowles this year.
That was pretty much the killer right there. Even if they don't make it, Bullock probably makes the kick from that distance to give the Jets a 20-19 lead.
I wish the Jet's just lost a clean hard fought game, the coaching today and at times early in the season was awful. This is what worries me most.
YIKES! Kind of a rough assessment based on 1 year with not a lot of substance....Give the guy a break where he can make adjustments, hopefully for the better. Good coaches do not happen overnight....Joe is right on Belichick....Carrol is another one....Sheesh...
Bowles wasn't on the field throwing picks and dropping passes. He's made some questionable decisions during the season but he's progressed quite a bit since week 1. Fitzpatrick is a very average quarterback that played with 2 very good receivers and an offensive coordinator that could play to his strengths. I'm not sure that this is something new we learned today. Revis will never be was he used to be but he's still one of the best corners in the league. Calling our D-line overrated is ridiculous. The only time they have trouble finishing the QB is when they go up against the fastest in the league. What the hell did you expect? Yeah blame the kicker when we lose by more then a field goal. Makes sense. The drops have been a problem all season but it didn't look like Fitz was able to put enough velocity on his passes considering he was throwing into the wind and has a weak arm to begin with.
Can I go out on the limb and surmise from your post that you may be feeling a bit bitter about today's loss?
What I have known all along is that Fitz is not the answer. Any word at all having him coming back next year as our starter is Totally ridiculous. Our coaching staff at times this year had me scratching my head. No adjustments on both sided of the ball. Play calling at times suspect. I am not a Chan Gailey fan. He calls plays that require a more talented player to make than it what is on our roster. I don't know if our coaching staff just doesn't see what we see at home? In a nut shell...new QB and better coaching on both sides of the ball.

I would agree with just about all of this except for Bowels sucking. He made much less mistakes than most first year coaches.
We learned that although the players and coaches change, we are still going to be losers..... I'm tired of running from it, it's time to admit, we always have and always will suck
