Do it for your kids Drew!!!!

In all seriousness, Drew Brees is my favorite QB in the NFL and I know Fitzy can do a solid job but we have him on a 1 year deal. Drew Brees will be a free agent and I am not sure he wants to deal with New Orleans/Tom Benson headcase right now.

I don't see this being another one of those Brett Favre or some other SOJ situation because I don't believe Drew is a selfish player. Probably is one of the best leaders in the NFL.

He will be 38 years old...But a 2 year deal for him and I'd take it to the fucking bank and roll with Breesus.

Would you take the gamble on Brees in 2017 at age 38?

    1) we can't afford him
    2) he's 38
    3) weak arm and used to playing in a dome

For people saying no, when did we sign a starting caliber qb for the 2017 campaign?? While Bree's is not the same guy outside of the dome lets not kid ourselves that he would be the best qb, even at 38, the jets have had on the field in a long, long time.

His completion percentage goes way down in cold weather, he has a losing record in cold weather and he is going to be 38 years old. I wouldn't bother especially since it would probably cost about $20M a year.

I've already looked at the cap. 100% non feasible unless he would come here for 1/3rd of what he's making this year, He;s making 30 mil this season

Not only that but he will be 39, has a weak arm and isn't sued to playing in rough weather. He's played his career in a dome mostly and even before that in san diego. He had a great career but no way do i want cap hell on a 1 year flyer

either retires or resigns with the saints. I can't see him leaving NO to play 1 or 2 more years on a new team

You would hope Bryce Petty or Christian Hackenberg will be better than a 38 year old Brees or a 34 year old Fitzpatrick in 2017. Time will tell.
