The more things change the more they stay the same. Oh wait, they never change it's always the exact same nonsense for this team. How can you change players, coaches, front offices and still win and lose the exact same ways. I just don't get it with this team. Next week they'll gut out a tough win to kick start a winning streak and get our hopes up to crash the whole shebang into the rocks week 15 or 16.
I can't think of a single legitimate argument for this team winning in Pittsburgh or Arizona. Other than I'm a Jets fan and I *want* them to.

We can't seem to get everything together, that's the problem. We strengthen our offense, only to see the defense fall apart. Then we try to build up the defense, only for the offense to fall apart. Rinse, repeat. Furthermore, our weaknesses seem to always be so great that our strengths can't overcome them, or the strengths are just not good enough. We have probably a top 5 defensive line; one that on most teams would make a mediocre secondary a non-issue. But the secondary is so terrible that our great D-line can't make up for it! On offense, we have a lot of great weapons for the QB to use: Marshall, Decker, Enunwa Anderson, Forte, Powell. But we have a QB who seems unable to use them. I guarantee if we upgraded the QB position, we would find ourselves with a good QB but with our position players all traded away, or with the O-line being a total mess. This team just can't seem to get it together.
Hopefully we're bad enough to get a top quarterback prospect rather than this bullshit with picking 16th and missing out on all the top guys. Week to week I'll never root for them to lose, but I secretly hope we have a shot at getting a top signal caller. Look at Tampa Bay and how it completely changes a shitty losing franchise and puts them in games every week.
Season's over. Draft O-line first 2 rounds and get a running back in the 3rd. Start Hackenberg next season so that we suck and get the first overall pick. Then draft Rosen and hire a new coaching staff
You can't play a season in the hopes you'll finish last. It doesn't work that way. If you want a top prospect, there's only one way. You have to be prepared to move up to the top of the draft whatever the price. That's something this franchise doesn't seem to want to do.
No we can't..Even when we have the number one pick we can't. We had it, Parcells was the coach and Manning decided to stay in school another year..that should tell you all we need to know. Of course if he did come out and we did take him we would have probably traded him if he had the same start here that he had in Indy.
The last time we had a franchise QB was Pennington pre-injury We also had a taste of it with Favre for half a season Other than that if you don't have a QB things will continue to stay the same
