Forget the fact that this would require one of the worst teams in the league to go on a Herculean 6 game run including beating the Patriots twice... It also requires either the Chiefs or the Broncos to go 2-4 and the Dolphins to go 3-3, as well as none of the 8 teams ahead of us catching a similar run. If we topple the Patriots (LOL) to get to 3 games back of the 6 seed (either KC or DEN has to lose Sunday) then I'll put some stock into the crazy talk with SF and MIA up next. When we get completely blown out, I'll resume rooting for the tank.
Anyone who would want that to happen should be permabanned from all Jets fan sites. IMO that would be the worst possible thing that could happen to this franchise. It would validate Bowles and Fitz, would mean that both would be back next season, and the team has zero chance of going anywhere if they did make the playoffs. I don't have to worry, however. It would be a cold day in hell before this could happen.

The Jets last played Nov.13th, he joins TGG on Nov. 14th and after a bye week the New England Patriots just so happened to be next on the schedule. This scenario is actually 2x less ideal than us losing out. I would prefer we don't win another game and go 3-13 instead for us to go 9-7 and make the playoffs. Besides, there is a 0% chance we make the playoffs.
Cannot believe people are hoping Jets lose or thinking they'll lose. I cheer for our Jets every Sunday. Go Jets go! I wanted Petty, but Fitz is our starting QB and as fans should rally behind him. I am wearing my Fitz jersey Sunday and if we lose, then we can talk "no playoffs". Just my two cents.
