All the talk about getting rid of Bowles and galley but no one is talking about what I want to see most, a new defensive coordinator. We need someone that will put fire in the eyes of this defence.

Who do you think would be the best candidate....Please no rex

Funny, I would never want him back as a head coach but Rex would be great to have as a defensive coordinator.

Hold on a second, @BudJet! I have called out Kacy Rodgers in multiple threads! You are correct. HE MUST GO!

I've seen multiple threads about Kacy Rodgers sucking ass.

I don't even know who I'd want, but I'm also not wasting time researching the best idea for it because he'll hire either some dude that's already on the team or a position coach from Arizona.

Or maybe a college guy on the outside.

Pretty safe bet that Kacy is toast, though. Hopefully Pepper Johnson is, too.

Our defense has been suspect since Rex left.

It wasn't all that when he was in charge.

I'd rather our offense step up next year. It's about time.

And I love a good defense...

My guess is that is Rogers is more likely to go than Gailey. If Petty shows any sort of progress, they wouldn't just pull the plug on the system. But somebody has to take the fall for the D's problems and that's probably Rogers.

Apparently you should look threw the threads, and you'd already realize that there's a thread for Rodgers

I'd like a new philosophy, one based on winning above all else. It's as true now as when St. Vincent said it: "Winning isn't everything...it's the ONLY thing". And for me what that means is drafting/signing players who place winning first, who have a long track record of winning and making those around them better. I think this is why Belichick is so successful - I think it's the key trait he looks for in players. When Rex cut Woodhead, who snapped him up in a blink of an eye? And who did Rex decide to keep instead?

I would bench/cut any player who doesn't play hard on every play, who gives up on even one play. On this basis, Revis would have been getting splinters in his ass since the beginning of the season, along with a few others. I also think that this loser's mentality comes from the owner on down. I'm not saying Woody (and before him Leon) haven't tried to do things, but if they were really dedicated to winning above all else, they would've not settled for anything but the best GMs/Coaches/Players, checkbook be damned. Until the Jets put winning above all else, they're going to continue being the SOJ.

Yeah, because it's the fans who decide who to sign and who to play, and which plays to call, and are the ones out on the field dogging it.

I don't see how you can blame the coach when the FO hasn't invested in the OL since 2006.

Play to win the game and actually try to do it on offense instead of just saying it like Herm did. Play offens and hopefully take our QB out of the game once in awhile due to having a big lead. When was the last time any of us remember that happening.
