I think the Giants (specifically Odell) have been getting crushed about their Miami trip. I don't know why it's such a big deal honestly, especially if they were back where they were supposed to be on Tuesday. But if the Giants lose and Odell doesn't have an insane game, he's gunna get CRUSHED. The "double standard" is simple. OBJ shows up on Sunday and plays his ass off. Giants show professionalism on the field. They have real Super Bowl credentials. I will be rooting HARD for the Packers. That's all I know. I think the Giants are the Cinderella team of the year, almost like the Jets last year. They had a soft schedule and capitalized, but their offense isn't explosive enough to beat good teams. The defense is no joke, but in the playoffs, you aren't going to win putting up less than 20 a game in most circumstances, especially against Rodgers.
I think you completely missed the point of the thread. It wasn't to complain about the Giants having a boat party. It was to highlight the fact that if the Jets had a boat party they would be much more heavily criticized. No Jets fans have forgotten about how bad this year was. I could care less about the Giants having a party. The media is different, though and has different standards for the Jets than they do for the Giants. I hear it almost every time I listen to that god awful BSPN radio, even last year when the Jets were good and the Giants were doodoo.
