decker is a gamer but we'll see. if he does go I think the jets are telegraphing they may consider a WR fairly high in april. we still have some depth at the position - I do hope they extend enunwa. the guy is a potential beast. if d. smith had shown something since he was drafted, the decision on decker would be much easier I suspect.
His cap hit is pretty low for what he brings to the table. I am all for the total tear down and rebuild but it will be hard to evaluate Petty and Hack this year with Enunwa double covered every single play and 8 in the box with their ears pinned back.

There are certainly other cap casualties that I would eliminate before Decker. Harris, Gilchrist, Skrine, Forte
Harris and Gilchrist I agree, Skrine got an extension last season I think so he won't be going anywhere and cutting Forte would result in dead cap. He will be on the roster in 2017 and probably be cut next offseason.

another 3M in dead money if they do..the Jets have become a total laughingstock if they weren't already. And they still will end up with a shitty draft pick or waste it on a DL after giving Richardson away..that will be soooo Jet like.
What did you want to do this offseason? Bring in Cutler for a 7-9? We're doing the right thing and gutting the team.
