You can only make a bet if you're allowed to suit up for a game. Schlegel isn't so his bets don't count...

What exactly is so hard to understand about it? #1 vs. #2, kind of a big game.

gets blown away, can rutgers finished undefeated and make their claim
to be in the nat'l champ. game?

This game is as big as the Super Bowl, and I'm really not exaggerating. Just because you don't like college football, don't be ignorant.

#1 vs #2. The two most hated rivals in college football. Winner (Ohio State) goes to the championship, and prevents its arch rival from going to the title. The loser (Michigan) doesn't go to the big game.

RobA if you don't know anything about college football it's not going to make sense to you. Give it a shot though I've been into it ever since going to college here at the U.

There is too much hype around a game that doesn't really even mean that much. Whoever loses is going to play the winner again anyway in the national championship.

Their is never too much hype for the 3rd Best Rivalry in Sports(Yanks-Sox, Duke-UNC). Especially when it's #1 vs. #2, winner is the Big 10 Champion and more importantly, the winner is going to play for the National Championship.

Now, the only way that these 2 would play again IMO is if Michigan wins by a FG or closer. If it's a blowout either side, then I really doubt they'd play eachother again.

Do you realize how much help RU is going to need?

    Cal beat USC
Ohio State beat Michigan by alot
FSU or Arkansas(SEC Champ. game) beat Florida
    Then USC beat Notre Dame

And Rutgers still has to go into Morgantown AND beat Pat White/Steve Slaton...

    Not exactly easy.

Michigan's gonna win a tight one here although the final score won't be so tight. Look for a 14-9 game after 3 quarters and a 24-9 Michigan win.

Dont hide your ignorance, college football rivalries mean a lot more to the players and most fans than NFL rivalries

You know what? Even though it's Michigan vs OSU, the game still won't be as good as that WVU/Pitt game last night. That was just crazy.

To the players they love to play rivals.

But I can't see many of the general public being fans of college teams besides students and parents/relatives of students.
