Of course I wouldn't root for an injury but once he's down on the ground in pain it wouldn't have been the worst thing in the world.
Right when they sent in Ramsey, right? Cause anyone that would want Ramsey over Chad is out of their mind.
Thank you. I mentioned this twice in the game thread. Ramsey gets one chance to make a play and what does he do? He throws into double coverage. That one play clearly exemplifies why Chad is the QB now and will continue to be until Clemens can show that he is capable of running this offense with the same kind of command, efficiency and leadership. And that won't be until next year at the earliest and probably not until 2008.
No video, but what he said about the crowd after the game was really cool. ""I was happy that I was breathing again, number one," Pennington said. "Number two, I wanted to let the crowd know I was okay. It was a good feeling. It has been a while. It reminded me of 2002. That is one thing about Jets fans - I love Jets fans. They really taught me how to be tough, how to take my licks and keep on going." How can you not root for this guy? http://www.newyorkjets.com/news/articles/show_permalink/pennington-i-love-jets-fans
Yes, but all that doesn't matter. All that matters is that Ramsey has one big ol' oversized gun. An arm like a howitzer is all anyone really wants to see on Sunday. Can't throw it to his grandmothers house from the 20? Piss on em.
That was awesome, I was at the game and the way the crowed went nuts, it was just great. How the hell can you not love chad, it seemed like he came back stronger!
We don't always see eye to eye, but to root for someone to be hurt enough to not be able to play anymore? Come on, you've gone to a new low.
Yea I agree with you. Im tired of posters that try to criticize a positive insight with some trying to be smart comment.
I did! I started screaming NO! NO! NO! I was so relieved to see him get up and prove that he was fine. I was also very pleased to see the crowd get so electrified for him! CHAD=MY HERO
Do you know where I can find the video for that. Unfutunately I was on the road back to college and had to hear it on the radio. I was pumped just listening to it.
I wasn't rooting for him to be hurt. It's like when you've got a loved one near death and in pain when they finally go it can be a relief.
