Dolphins could be getting the Colts at the perfect time....as in Peyton in a warmup suit. That's a key here if Miami is still in it.

Yeah but, Sorgi was good when he got extended playing time against Seattle and Arizona last year. Also, Manning has started every Colts game since he was drafted. If the Colts have a seed locked up they'll start Manning and probably take him out after one or two series.
Maybe they won't have a seed locked up. The Ravens and Chargers are right behind them.

True, chargers and ravens could be right on their tail.

I dont think there is any way the dolphins are 9-6 at that point. The still have games vs jets, patriots, jags and at buffalo. Three of those teams already beat them once this year.
Everyone was saying how pitt was getting hot just like miami and they got pounded 27-0 today. If the dolphins lose one more time they might just pack it in.

Didn't see this posted but here are the opposing teams records for the wild card contenders:

    Jets: 21-34
    Jags: 33-21
    Chiefs: 29-26
    Bengals: 31-23
    Broncos: 29-26

I left the Dolphins off because I honestly don't see them running the table to get one of those playoffs spots. This looks pretty good for us. The Jaguars have two tough road games at Miami and KC and a third tough home game with New England. The Chiefs have to play two 9-2 teams (ravens, chargers) in two consecutive weeks with one being away. Teh Bengals have to play the Ravens next week and their last three weeks will be extremely difficult with the Colts, broncos and steelers. The Broncos have to play Seattle, San Diego, and Cincinnati in their last five games.

Looking at the schedule I would say we are looking much better than anyone could have expected. Our hardest game is going to be Miami in Miami. I believe if we can get to 10 wins we will get a playoff spot. My preciction for records of our opposing teams.

Jaguars: 7-9: The only team I can see them beating is the Titans.

    Chiefs: 10-6

    Bengals: 8-8

    Broncos: 11-5

I think we are going to have to finish at 10-6 to make the playoffs and have the tie breaker over KC.

Bengals are going to win 10 games starting with Baltimore next weekend.

The early season problems are gone and they're clicking offensively and defensively at this point. I'm just glad we don't play them.

My comment is there are still 5 games & anything can happen in those 5 games. If you look at KC they play Balt but Baly already has a 3 game lead on Cinncy so by the time that game rolls around Balt maybe playing all scrubs. They also play SD again & SD has a 2 game lead on both them & Den so if they also have a spot locked up KC may again be playing scrubs. The only real factor at this moment is we are tied with Jax & they hold the tie breaker over us. All the rest is just sheer speculation & poppycock & just see how it goes in GB & what other teams in the PO pix now do next week as well.

Baltimore and SD are tied at 9-2 for the second seed. If Indy loses a game, they can get the top seed. Neither of those teams is going to pack it in when home field is on the line.
Plus those big KC-baltimore, kc-sd games are in 2 and 3 weeks. No one plays their scrubs with 3 weeks to play.

However I do agree with you, that we should wait and until we beat green bay before we start planning for the playoffs.
