if there is one game you could afford to lose, it's the non-division, non-conference game in minny. then again, we could 'manage' to win them all. as long as the ugly duckling doesn't re-surface at qb.hmy:
I don't know if we will run the table but.. I think they'll beat Buff Then I think they will beat Minn then Miami then Oak point is I don't really think they can win 6 in a row, but until they lose I think they can beat every team on the schedule. They are playing very well right now & I expected them to keep getting better every week, which is exactly what they have been doing..It is definetly gonna be interesting the next couple weeks.
I chuckled when I read this, but nonetheless, it is safe to say Mangini has met and exceeded all expectations.
Gentlemen, as for the "P" word, not only do we have to win out, but we need certain teams to screw up royally. Now as for me having ever imagined that I would even be considering the "P" word this late in the season when this season began...
If the Pats do go 2-2 and we win out, I believe we have a tie-breaker over them no matter what. So do you mean "luck" in terms of help from other teams or just winning our games? If it's the latter, then I agree. If they lose to miami, we have the division tie-breaker Even if they beat Jax and one other team, they won't have the tie-breaker over us b/c our common opponents record would be the same. That would bring it to conference record which we would win. Also, the Pats play 3 of their final 4 games on the road.
If you're just talking about the "P" word, then I don't agree at all - we can easily lose 1 more and still make the playoffs. For the division, then yes, we probably have to win out.
If you look at each teams upcoming schedule we probably won't have to undefeated to get a wild card spot. Jaguars: Colts AT Titans Patriots AT Chiefs There isn't one easy game there now that the Titans are winning games. Chiefs: Ravens AT Chargers AT Raiders Jaguars They have three tough games left and an easy win. However, those three games could easily produce two losses. Bengals: Raiders AT Colts At Broncos Steelers They have two tough games left and then a division rival in the Steelers. Broncos: AT San Diego AT Arizona Cincinnati San Francisco They are also playing the Seahawks tonight. They have two tough games the rest of the way but they will probably make it. Now our schedule Bills AT Minnesota AT Miami Oakland With this schedule and the level of play we have put out we have a great chance even if we lose one.
