All I’m saying is I find it really hard to believe that all these expert magazines/companies have the budget and resources to track every team, every player, every second of the game (especially w/ a bad teams like ours) and be able to accurately express to someone (who is not a diehard fan) the very intricate details as to what and who makes this team the team that it is. For example they can say how Quincy is a great player because of his targets, YAC, REC, and how he runs like a RB when the ball is in his hands (because of watching multiple highlight reels and listening to commentators) then say the JETS record reflect on his injuries or poor play from XYZ. Because stats and glossing over games are easily accessible... however, it paints such a limited and brief analysis of the overall story even to the so called “experts” who get paid to do this.

What they will never know is that diehard fans like you and I may observe that RA11 (when targeted) could perhaps contribute to making our offense dangerous thereby making our record different. Then analytics and “experts” can go back to RA11 stats from last year and say “oh yeah Robby needs to be involved for this team to succeed” all the while you and I have always known his capabilities.

Case and point... How many of us (and the rest of the world for that matter) knew that the Giants could beat the patriots during their undefeated run? None of us did. I will tell you who knew they could all along ... the fans, the organization... because they know that if their team does this and that and put so and so in the game they would actually win. There is a post on here from “patriots something” where he says that the Jets Super Bowl win was one of the big upsets to everyone, however he pointed out that the game before that was one of the grittiest performances he’s seen from a team... and he knew then that Namath and the Jets were coming to play!

There is a TB12 documentary that often reminds of this fact (however lopsided the odds maybe) where Steve Mariucci Explains why Tom Brady went so far down in the draft. He goes on to say that all 32 teams (PATS included) Measured him by his numbers and outward appearance. Then he says these profound words ... “What we couldn’t and didn’t measure was his HEART!” Tom Brady has been destroying the league ever since and it is disheartening to know our beloved Jets is in the same division. Do you think for one second that folks from San Mateo California and Michigan didn’t know that? Even though the majority and popular thinking of the masses (experts included) thought otherwise?

Things can always be argued 2 sides but to think that PFF is the end all be all to tracking everything and to be world renowned and acknowledged as such is just a small part of a greater picture. No matter how popular they may be and how insurmountable and one sided the odds maybe against us... We know our team better than anyone (experts or not). And hopefully perhaps in the near future when our Jets win the Super Bowl and everyone and the entire world is surprised. We can proudly say that we knew it all along!!

    Sorry so long...

I find it very hard to believe anyone who thinks Darron Lee has been milk carton worthy this season as someone with a viable opinion.
I also find it very hard to believe anyone who would dismiss a "magazine/company" that is widely considered the standard for adjusted stats even by the two largest sports networks for pro football as being someone
worth reading a block of shit like that.

Sorry for being short and to the point.

We agree to disagree my friend only time will tell. I just hope you and PFF are right and that I am wrong. And if you are I will gladly be the first on here to admit that I was wrong.

Have a good and productive day!

Maybe casual onlooker was not the right word. I’m sorry if I offended you.

I don’t disagree with you about Lee being completely invincible Especially the first game. But generally as fans we want the best and usually measure them against the best. From that standpoint it is completely unfair for me To judge Lee as such. I believe the league will never see another Revis Let alone our Jets.

I want the same thing as you do for our team brother. We’re all in this together.

Don't get me wrong I'm not claiming Lee to be some ray lewis in the making but the kid is a solid linebacker and one of the few draft picks that is working out for us over the last 6 years. So the stupidity of saying we should look for an upgrade over 23 yo draft pick is just dumb.

The knowledge level across this board can be frustrating at times. Its like guys have an opinion of a position and what they should be doing every game and if they don't do that they are suddenly a failure lol.

Like the guy who early claimed "other linebackers were in coverage but still managed stats" I was going to call him on his bullshit since if he had watched the game he would have realized how wrong he was.
Will Lee fall back into bad habits he has shown before I don't know but the way he is playing this year he deserves to be acknowledged. Every aspect of his game has improved from previous years and if he continues
to grow as he has then we are in for good times with him.

Just to be clear PFF is not the only source marking Lee as a top 15 ILB.

That I can totally agree to. I have a good feeling and am very optimistic about the direction this team is headed. And if they continue to struggle for the next million years... I’ll continue to be hopeful and optimistic year in year out with my eyes glued to the tv supporting. By the way, here in Texas they only show the shitty cowboys and Texans games so I have to spend an absurd amount of money for NFL ticket to catch the NYJ game. SMH.

That’s amazing you say that Griff cause my wife and I own 2 android boxes and suddenly every movie stream was gone. Called the guy up who sold it to us and he said there was nothing he could do because the entire thing CRASHED! I’m sorta computer saavy so I went on YouTube. I guess I have the outdated Kodi version and that I need the most current build. I’m going To try my hand at figuring it out and I’ll report back to you. Hopefully I can do it. Thanks for the tip bro

kodi should be updated to krypton 17 and use the neptune add on for for typical tv/movie viewing. You can download he kodi update from the link i provided to a usb and install if fromt here. You tube has a million videos if you want step by step

More than likely your add on youre using is outdated since you can still run older version of kodi with new add ons.

so you can watch all the games live? I mean i have a ton of smart TVs and devices so that isn't a concern. my concern would be not being able to see live games or poor quality streams

yes sir all games live and there are typically 30-60 streams for every game ranging from 1080 to 480 so you watch what your internet can handle.

and is it as easy as changing channels? i like to flip back and forth and typically have the jets game on my main screen, red zone on another screen and then a tablet running a 3rd game

What channel is the football on out of interest ?

I have Kodi in the UK but can only get your game of the day live and not one of the other games, well the Jets games obviously, I have still been watching them via other streams on the PC.

But if you have a channel which offers Jets games up on a weekly basis I can get it added to the build I use atm :)

ah gotcha i do use all 3 of those. i'm just concerned because those have servers streaming content while kodi looks like it fins people streaming stuff form their own home so the reliability and quality worries me. I don't mind paying for the sunday ticket and much prefer it then watching a bad stream or dealing with nonsense would just be nice if a company offered it since i pay for direcTV i'm not using really the other 8 months of the year
