Jets fans should sign up for the season ending early for multiple reasons:
    1. It puts us out of our misery.
    2. It doesn't allow the Jets to win a couple meaningless games and drop from #1-3 pick to #7 pick, which you know they will do.
    3. It ends Adam Gase's time with the Jets even faster.

    All I see are positives!

So far nearly every player who has contracted COVID has been asymptomatic. You know - like the bulk of the population. How are we ever going to stop this "dangerous pandemic"? Following the Jets makes the average person sicker then COVID. Just quarantine the sick and let the teams keep playing.

The Giants play in a shitty division and I can see them winning a game just on effort alone. The Falcons are too talented of a team to go 0-16.

Frankly, if we continue to look as we have (I don't think there's a reason why that would change) we will probably have the first pick.

I think we'll be ok, but I don't want to get my hopes up either way

No one is trading Sam just yet. This news impacts teams that are actually competing for play-offs a lot more. I expected the season may end before all 16 games are played, and we may be facing teams without their best players, but the same is true for all. Depending on where chips fall, this may benefit the Jets. We just need to keep doing what we do best under Gase, which is losing. All this tells us is that we may not be 1/4 way there, but 1/2 or 1/3. This is not a terrible news.

The Jets are 32nd in the league. Even if they luck into winning a game they'll be no better than about 27th in the league.

The NFL could expand the playoffs to 20 teams and the Jets still ain't making it. The NFL has done about a good a job as possible isolating these incidents. Shoot it was worse in MLB in the first month than it's been in the NFL.

The show must and will go on.

Only problem ending early is CJ may feel Gase didn't get a chance to win with injuries & a shorten season, & they will bring him back for another year.

If Gase is back, I'll find another team to root for.

If we get a win I think we could still get 1 overall. Giants and Falcons will get 2-3 wins... Washington is the team I’m worried about

This is all fine and dandy but the Jets are not as bad as people think. They just have lack of depth and the injuries exacerbate the problem. If they can get some of their drafted players back and starting WR's, they could win some games. I'm rooting for some wins here!

It might be hard to believe because of how bad the Jets are, but the gap between the Jets and Chiefs is smaller than the gap between the Jets and LSU.

Why because of the Titans Mess?If anything i think most players will take this even more serious.I wouldnt be surprised if we only see a handful of new cases until the end of the season.Teams are gonna buckle down especially when they see the punishment handed down to the Titans which is expected to be historic for breaking protocol.

The SOS is fluid and is constantly changing as teams win or lose. So the SOS will continue to fluctuate weekly even if the seasons format changes. The league is looking into several options including adding bye weeks, and imposing a "bubble where players must stay in team hotels the rest of the season.
Just think, if Flacco can lead us to a win this week, we can drop to 12 in the draft .......

Imagine that, losing a good draft pick and pretty much proving Sam is not the FQB all in one shot.

its WAY too early to start thinking about getting the #1 pick, too many things can happen and too many odd things can happen. at this point the winless teams are

    Jets
    houston
    giants
    atlanta

    1 win teams are

    eagles
    washington
    cowboys
    vikings
    lions
    dolphins
    broncos
    chargers
    bengals
    jaguars

so almost half the league is within 1 game of being the worst record.

sadly, all of the winless teams are probably better than the jets other than the giants but they will get a few in that dogshit nfc east. the 1 win teams, really non of them look futile and they all should win some games.

however its still too early and we should be more worried about the same old jets shit happening if we get it and the best player decides not come come out.... again.

How does any of this screw the Jets out of the number 1 pick? Isn’t SOS already a tie breaker for draft order for teams with the same record?
