Hunt for a new Head Coach. Tons of cap space. 2 first round picks. Constant fight on TGG on which QB to pick. Yes we lost on Trevor but at least we have an eventful offseason to look forward to.
I was thinking last week when we beat LA that the best thing that could happen for traffic/discussion on this board is as losing the shot at Lawrence. The board has really come alive.
Give me Kyle Trask. Nope, he is trash, you don’t know football? Who, me? Get the hell out of here you don’t know football. I can see it now
It's going to be a long 4 months.....Thank God for free agency. I am more excited about this Draft then 2018. There are so many options this year. Do we keep Sam, do we go with a new QB & IF SO WHO. Do we trade back. A lot to think about...& to much time to do so.
Will it be though? This is the Jets we are talking about. We pick a crappy coach (see Gase, Adam). No talented FA's want to come to this mess. We all say, "Why????" When we make our draft picks. That's the Jets we know and love.
We still have a shot at TL if Jax is willing to make a trade. Our 2nd pick and our other first round pick plus other picks or a player like Mosley. What would it take? TL would be better off i NY than Jacksonville. We have the better team plus the cap space.
Hard to constant fight when we should know the answer a week after the season ends. If the Jets are in another of these wait it out for a coordinator moments I'm out of the conversation because it's going to be a major fail any way they go.
You really think we would have selected a new HC within a week. I hope you are right. But the fight does not usually end with the selection. There will be months of pros and cons at TGG and arguments about the pick if we are true to form.
