LOL same here. I also got soaked to the bone, I thought I went swimming fully clothed.. These wussies better be there and lose their stinking voices. Time to represent.
I goto 4 sometimes 5 games a season. I was lucky enough to grab this game. I cant wait!!!! This game has so much going for it playoffs, raiders, nye, last home game of great season. Its got the making of a great game to remember
PLEASE get in early, pack up the tailgates early and be in your seats before the game starts. If you really need the extra 15 mins of tailgate time get there 15 mins earlier in the morning.
I have season tickets, and I will be at the game. On a bad note, my uncle has two seats of his own and he only went to opening day and the lions game. he sold the rest and now sold these tickets vs. the raiders, its kind of upsetting, he always liked to go to the games, oh well...ill be there and ill do enough cheering for everybody. LETS GO JETS
Go Jets should be incredible tommorrow, making plans to come to a game next year. anyone know how much tickets are getting scalped for??
tomorrow will be a better atmosphere than the 02 Packers game. In 02, most of the tailgate was spent worrying about the outcome of a couple other games, this year it will be a party from start to finish with nothing to worry about besides beating a pathetic team. GO Jets, start the new year right. I can't wait!!!!
I'll do my best to make sure of it! I figure it will be pretty nuts in there, being it's new years eve and all. I hope that most make it from the parking lot into the stadium though.
This is our playoff game. Should be a lot of fun. We are planning on tailgating after the game for a few hours and then heading directly to a New Years eve party. Gonna be one long day
I dunno about that. Everyone was kinda keeping an eye on both. Plus we were playing for the division that year. Not just a wild card.
oh well. sorry. i got tickets that way once before. i read in the paper that the opposing team turned back tickets and ran over to the stadium and was able to get 2 lower level in the endzone. maybe try the stadium tomorrow. hey you never know.
Yea but that was a do or die situation not only would we have lost the division we would have lost out on the playoffs as well. Its the same situation.
The scenario in 2002 was this Falcons were playing the Browns in Cleveland (Browns controlled there own destiny) Dolphins played the Pats in NE. We needed a Jets win coupled with either a Browns loss or a Pats win. Browns were playing for a playoff spot themselves and they controlled the game, Atlanta made it close at the end but Cleveland pulled it out. Cleveland was playing for a wild card berth, if they won then they were in and our only hope was the division. For the longest time it looked like both games were not going to go our way. As I remember, most people in the parking lot (as well as the Jets pre game people) had completely, 100% given up on the Dolphins/Patriots games. I was tailgating that day and all Tv's were tuned to Falcons-Browns. It was a miracle NE pulled out there game. Everybody was hoping for a Falcons win and a wild card chance, instead we got the division.
I remember the Browns had the ball up by a few and were running out the clock. Then William Green had an 70 yard to seal the deal. I then gave play-by-play to my entire section during the pat game (I had a little TV)
Is that what happened? I thought Atlanta had the ball down at the cleveland goal line down 24-16 with time running out and the browns stopped vick?
