He better not only be behind the line, but BEHIND THE QB. It's not just the line of scrimmage that matters. Remember, College rules are different in some regards.

Mike Vrabel reported eligible 2 or 3 times last year against us in that MNF game at home and he caught every ball for a TD. But then again, not every team is coached by a guy like herm

Hypothetically speaking, if we tried that on third and goal and don't make it would Brick be eligible to block for a field goal on the next down?

I remember that. It was against the Patriots on the last MNF game. Vrable lined up at TE three times with Dan Klecko also reporting as eligible. Vrable caught 2 tds and Correy Dillon ran one in on the third snap.

Torched?! What are you talking about. Other than a couple of inconsequential late sacks against the Bills, he's played outstanding all year long. I didn't see Taylor (that jack***) dominate or torch him! Sometimes I don't think people realize how difficult it is to play that position. The fact that he's doing so well in his ROOKIE year is amazing. Let's give the guy some credit.

With a nickname of Brick, I don't think you want him trying to catch even a cold

I never said HE GOT TORCHED. I said he needs to concentrate on preventing it. Because now, more then ever we'll need to throw the ball. And no, contrary to your belief i was not implying anything with my statement.

Why not just use someone who is used to going out for passes?
