Enjoy the Game. Many years ago, I was in a funk because the Jets kept losing and my father said to me, “If you don’t enjoy the game, then why do you keep watching it?” Win or lose, I’m going to enjoy sitting back and watching football. If the team stinks, I’ll watch less. In the meantime, I’ll be sitting at home with a huge smile on my face. Football is entertainment and if you’re not entertained… Enjoy!!!
Don’t get too high or too to low in the emotions department. Set the bar low and for your own good NEVER EVER raise that bar. Other fans love to pile on the Jets. Ignore all those mother fuckers.
Well said. The key to me is low expectations and enjoy the season for what it is and just hope we are a lot better in December than we are in September.
