I heard an interesting stat this morning to follow up on this: in 2021, 2-point attempts on plays from the pocket have been successful 53% of the time, while 2-point attempts on rollouts have been successful 38% of the time. Apparently the issue isn't really them going for it, it's the play call when they decided to go for it. That was actually reflected yesterday - there was only one possible receiver (Andrews) on the play, and that's why the safety immediately broke on the ball and was able to tip it (it wasn't a good pass anyway, of course).
when i was an adolescent... you waited for the afternoon papers to be delivered to read the local beat guys daily blurb about the Jets... NOW the news cycle is 24/7 very unhealthy. the more time WE spend here, the more we contribute to the addictive behavior... so i been doing what i can... not watching the putrid games... limiting my comments tryna see the WHOLE league rather than just MY team... and the more I do so... the more i realize all the hours i'll never get back...

At one point during the game the camera focused on Leftwich the TB OC and CC tried to hint at racism for the reason he didn’t get hired as a head coach somewhere. Tirico didn’t bite though … meanwhile he appears to be one of the front runners for the Jax job.
