Oh, Antonio Brown ripped off his Uniform in the middle.of the game and ran across the field shirt less while waving to the crowd. That was fun.
Thought it was great Marvel passed the torch officially to the new kid. Lets keep that in the movie thread shall we?
Competence on offense, special teams, and D, for the most part throughout the game. If you threw out the records you would swear you are watching evenly matched teams. It was by far the best overall game in the past 2 seasons by this team. Zach more than held his own throughout the game...
Just dug thru my DVR's and my recording did record sooo, I'll be watching the game tonite after all..
Thanks for the overview boyz.. I'm signing off to watch this game and do some dinner. Man doesn't live on popcorn alone...
I think he was paid to do that to distract attention from Brady's foot stomping, pants wetting hissy fit earlier.
The Jets overall played very well. They scored on their first 2 drives, Wilson in particular was very sharp. 3 Injuries really changed the game for the Jets: Carter got a concussion early, Fant went down, and Echols got hurt. After Fant went out, the Jets couldn’t protect Wilson from the blitz very well and that’s when the completion percentage began to drop. They overcame to some degree with an effective run game despite missing Carter, but no other Jets RB is nearly as impactful. Wilson was decisive, accurate, and elusive. Echols picked off Brady. There was a point around the halftime mark when it seemed like the Bucs could do nothing right and the whole team was getting frustrated and getting penalized. To the point that Antonio Brown ripped off his pads, quit on the team and stormed to the locker room. The biggest takeaway is how good Wilson looked, and I can only recall 2 plays in total that I thought were not good decisions by Wilson.
Actually we were missing 8 starters on offense once Fant and Carter went down. Edit: ooops I see Rscherwin posted the same thing above. I will add we were also missing 6 starters on defense as well
The new exciting New York Jets beat the defending champion Bucs today, unfortunately they lost to the same old Jets.
Halfway thru the game and I gotta say it, the Jets showed up today like it was the first game of the season. Everybody looked sharp and overall, the team looked professional. Zach was on target all day and I would guess playing against the GOAT may have provided some inspiration for the young man. Into the 3rd qtr now and I'm not seeing any letup from LeFleur or Ulbrich although the Jet D is up against a legend. Very impressive game today so far.
Ok... I'm at the critical juncture now. Jets pushing the ball downfield on the ground easily but they go with a sneak as an option? Where was Walter on this? OK..just saw the play and yeah, it was pretty fckn stupid to even try especially with the Jets running so effectively on the edges. That's not on Zach as down the road, Zach would have realized this play had no chance and audibled. Jets still looked better today than all year long and if they didn't get stupid at the end of the game, they would have won it. If they repeat this level of play on the road next week, that would really go along way to convince the skeptics that they are finally making some progress.
