None of the below is an absolute, but I figure I’d put together a baseline list to start the 2022 QB movement discussion.

    Trade options
    Russell Wilson, Seahawks
    Deshaun Watson, Texans
    Aaron Rodgers, Packers
    Jimmy Garoppolo, 49ers
    Kirk Cousins, Vikings

    Retired
    Tom Brady, Buccaneers
    Ben Roethlisberger, Steelers

    Staying put
    Josh Allen, Bills
    Patrick Mahomes, Chiefs
    Justin Herbert, Chargers
    Zach Wilson, Jets
    Trevor Lawrence, Jaguars
    Mac Jones, Patriots
    Joe Burrow, Bengals
    Matthew Stafford, Rams
    Dak Prescott, Cowboys
    Lamar Jackson, Ravens
    Derek Carr, Raiders
Carson Wentz, Colts (basically locked in money wise)
Matt Ryan, Falcons (basically locked in money wise)

    Unknown/possibly replaced
    Tua Tagovailoa, Dolphins
    Daniel Jones, Giants
    Ryan Tannehill, Titans
    Justin Fields, Bears
    Baker Mayfield, Browns
    Kyler Murray, Cardinals
    Jalen Hurts, Eagles
    Taylor Heinicke, Commanders
    Davis Mills, Texans
    Sam Darnold, Panthers
    Taysom Hill, Saints
    Jared Goff, Lions

Teams who will likely have a different starter
    Pittsburgh Steelers
    Tampa Bay Buccaneers
    New Orleans Saints(?)
    Carolina Panthers
    Denver Broncos
    Washington Commanders
San Francisco 49ers (on the roster?)
    Houston Texans (?)
    Detroit Lions (?)

For your staying out, I would say that the 49'rs have their QB on the bench.

It's all or nothing with Trey Lance next year for them.

I think the QB carosel is going to start with one of Rodgers, Wilson and less likely watson. those are the QBs that win games on their own.

The other guys like Jimmy G will be the secondary market and only bonus payments might force a move more quickly.

Good thread. Tons of effort went into this right? Thanks JV.

I like your list a lot, but poor Jimmy Garoppolo - three misspellings in one last name!

Why is Fields on this list? They love him in Chicago.

Brand new coach and GM who didn’t draft him. The list isn’t concrete, it’s just a starting point for a discussion.

Fixing it now. A bit hungover today lol.

Fields is an orphan at this point.

He'll get a long look next season but the new regime is going to go find their QB if he doesn't give them what they are looking for fairly quickly.

    Rodgers will stay.

    Watson to Philly or Carolina.

Jimmy G to New England (Yeah I said what I said)

    Cousins will stay.

    Wilson will stay.

Big agree with the first two that @NYJFOREVER posted, just not sure of the destination for Watson.

Saw a hypothetical trade on the twitter about Kyler + 2022 1st for Watson.

Gotta assume the Giants keep DJ and bring in Trubisky to compete for the job. Draft a guy next year if neither work out.

The latest report about the Packers doing a Brees type deal and try and go all in for Rodgers this final 2-3 years makes me think he really stays. They gotta know Love isn't the answer. We all know the cap is fake number anyways, look what KC did during their last FA.

I think the Giants will replace Jones in 2023 at the earliest. He's most likely not the answer, but they're in a tough cap situation and their OL is a bigger mess than ours is.

Wilson would be a better fit there IMO. We seen him with a beast of a running back win it all. If I’m Tennessee I’m moving heaven and earth to get Wilson as soon as I can.

I don't think the Titans can make it work because of the cap situation. If Rodgers goes anywhere I could see Denver but in the end I think he will stay at GB.

I think Garroppolo ends up in Pittsburgh and they win the AFC North next season

Is Carr for sure staying put in Vegas? I could see McDaniels with designs on getting his own guy
    --

I think Tampa will go after Rodgers by the way. What a move that would be, going from Tom Brady to Aaron Rodgers. very ballsy

I think LV would be insane to move on from Carr but honestly they are the Raiders and McDaniels is overhyped as hell; I can see them giving him the reigns to make a move like that.

His best situation is to stay in Green Bay with that top offensive line and a good running game/Adams. But he seems have to inherited the Favre characteristic of wanting to stick it to them.
