The Jets can shutdown Maroney and Dillon.

Seriously, who would have forseen Larry Johnson not getting at least 100 yards against the worst rushing defense in the NFL this year?

And it wasn't Peyton taking the ball and running away and hiding. He threw 3 picks today.

Someone who bet hard on Indy and on the under in that game foresaw Johnson getting slowed down a lot, but that was nuts.

I think Bettis said it best in the post game. Everyone in the country knew the Chiefs were going to try and run the ball how about throwing a play action pass in there sometime in the first series. Come out throwing open things up. Do something they weren't expecting. Herm threw out there today one of his worst coaching performances. I can't believe our good fortune for getting rid of him and bringing Mangini in. I know the Colts are bad against the run but they are an NFL defense and even they can stop the run when they know it's coming.

Oh and if we played either of those teams we would have beat them.

    I see it this way...

Mangini knows the Patriots better than Belichicken knowing the Jets.

I think it's going to be a great game....for us!

I was torn on who to pick. Herman Edwards in the playoffs or Peyton Manning in the playoffs.

Herm hasn't changed one iota. Count on a home win vs. KC next year.

Actually I wouldn't be surprised if his game plan slipped out last night over dinner with his pals Dungy and Lovie.

Bears fans better hope Lovie doesn't pick up any habits from Herm and Tony otherwise they may be in for a quick exit.

The offensive lines kind of resembled each other this season, though.

It amazes me. I know your buddies and everything but dinner the night before the game?? If I was an owner or a player I would have been pissed if my coach did that.

Oh and it was pretty funny when Collinsworth said on the broadcast " you think Mangini and Belichick are having dinner tonight"

    haha yeah.

although he said it jokingly, that right there exemplifies the differences between Belichick/Mangini vs Dungy/Edwards. complete reflection of their attitudes.

    cheers

A LOT EASIER FOR THE COLTS.

You know why? They know for a fact Herm wouldn't change the gameplan to adjust.

The Jets will not stop Dillon and Maroney like the Colts did Johnson.

Hopefully they can contain them though.
