Ladies and gentlemen, Dyson is going to play. I told you 2-4 weeks was crap. He just wasn't that badly hurt in Miami.
Knowing how Mangini works, of course they might try and throw off NE by saying he is out 2-4 weeks and just NOW announce now that he might play. Gotta love it.
In a related story John Abraham is listed as out for this weeks games. He was quoted saying he would be ready to go around the second week of February. It's nice to see someone actually try and play a little hurt for a playoff game. Hopefully if Dys goes he will be healthy enough to be effective.
Knee injuries are tricky. With a ligament sprain, they're probably more likely to get damaged on plays that are normally not a serious injury threat.
I hope he plays.I feel comfortable with Dyson and Poteat but not anyone else.We need him to play, unless he can't play at a high level.
Barrett and Miller should start, and that will be more than sufficient with Dyson in the dime and Rhodes/Coleman patrolling at the top. It's only scary when Dyson's on the bench. This *really* blows for New England, who will now have to rely on a weakened TE corps. Their o-line must hold, or Shaun Ellis will be feeding Brady more dirt.
