The Jets have some solid players in their line-up, what they're lacking is big-time talent.

Impact, blue-chip players that can occupy more than one player allowing all of Mangini's schemes to work.

A massive DT that protects the middle of the defense and allows Vilma to flow to the ball...a Taylor-like (Jayson or Lawrence) linebacker who will not only make the sack and cause a turnover, he'll knock the QB out of the game...a massive offensive line that punishes a defense and causes them to give up.

The Jets weren't outcoached yesterday...they were outclassed by a bigger, more talented team.

yes, now the goal this offseason is to get talent WITHOUT the ego.

this is off-topic, but did the jets have a chance to draft heath miller in the draft 2 years ago??? but the jets traded that pick for jolley??? if someone can remember...

I feel we have the offensive talent to put up points. Is it just me or do we need to work on the defensive side of the ball to have the complete package?

Yes, defense is the biggest problem.

The offense will get better next year just through NFL Strength and Conditioning.

We're not big enough on the line yet to effectively play the 3-4--look at Wilfork compared to Robertson.

And we don't have a pass-rushing LB that requires a double team...

And we're still lacking a shut down corner...

And we could use an upgrade over Coleman at Safety
