I'm a big fan of McGahee outside of his dominance of the Jets... Buffalo wouldn't trade him to a division rival, but I like him. With that said, his injuries and demand of a big contract could sway me away. He also wears down later in the year. I'd like him a lot and he can be a feature back if healthy, just very doubtful.
He's a very average back, definitely not the same type of guy he was before his knee injury. I don't know what he'd get on the open market, but they could afford to upgrade their running back situation. He didn't even get 1,000 yards this year, despite getting 275 in two games against the Jets. That's really abysmal. He hasn't averaged 4 yards in two seasons, and when he did, he averaged 4 even. -X-
McGahee is terrible. He hurts your team more than helps. Not to mention that he has had 3 kids in the past 15 months by 3 different mothers. Here's a nice article about that piece of crap: http://www.buffalonews.com/editorial/20070110/2048388.asp
McGahee sued for paternity 1/10/2007 Buffalo Bills running back Willis McGahee is facing his third paternity suit in two years, according to the Miami Herald. Keisha Walls, 27, an elementary school teacher, claims McGahee is the father of son Kai Walls, who was born April 19, 2006. McGahee also fathered Willis McGahee IV, born Jan. 6, 2006 to Chiniqua Smith, 26, and Bria McGahee, born Jan. 17, 2005 to Dorothy Doretha McNeil, 29. McGahee, 25, was declared the biological father in those cases and is paying child support. The Miami Herald reported that Walls met McGahee in Miami during a college break. Walls was married at the time, but said she was estranged from her husband when Kai was conceived. They are now in divorce court. Her husband took a paternity test, which she said was negative. "I don't sleep around," Walls told the Herald. "It was Willis." Gotta love a guy who takes responsibility after getting sued... Douche
Wrap it up Willis! What a scumbag I remember laughing when all those fantasy football magazines had him the #2(!) rated player after his rookie year. Other than against the Jets, he just doesn't impress.
Very well said, from draft day I already thought he was a bust... then everyone said he was so amazing, and i was right... he sucks
"We want everybody to hate playing our team. We're going to be so physical, dominant, and relentless in our effort and in the way we go about competing in the game. We want the other team to hate playing us" - Nick Saban Wow, Alabama will be tough. The SEC should worry.
Chris Brown is not just any writer he is the only writer that the Bills allow direct access to! Usually what he says is close to the truth and I for one would not be sad to see Willis leave. He shows up twice a year and you guys know what games those are! DAMN I MISS TRAVIS HENRY!!!!!!!!!!
Get him out of here. He absolutely shreds the Jets every year, regardless of the fact he sucks vs. other opponents.
Hmm. Again, I like McGahee a lot. But his contract demands may be the ONLY reason why I would shy away. I could deal with the possible injuries if didn't demand such big money, not to mention his agent is Rosenhaus...
